Is there anywhere to turn for a Christmas Miracle????

I am a single mother currently disabled, studying for a higher degree that will allow me to work around my disabilities, and support my 2 children. We moved to Penn Yan in June, after a series of unfortunate events and the loss of our home. We lost everything and started over here.
I have been searching for help with Christmas since just before Thanksgiving, with no success. All programs I have been able to reach are not available to me due to the County I live in, or they have reached capacity, or some other reason.
My children's prior school was aware of which families were in need, and would send out anonymous 'Secret Santa' letters, to fill out and return, and a pick up date. No names to avoid embarrassment. Well, the school here doesn't seem to be as attuned to special needs like this.
I have called the Department of Social Services and spoke to a Worker that did not get back to me as of yet, a church that did not return my call, and Christmas for the Needy, that told me I was too late.
We were fortunate enough to receive a tree that was to be donated...
I am beside myself that Christmas will not be possible this year. My children don't ask for much, and are so understanding of our situation.
I am still trying to provide basic winter necessities, let alone considering Christmas presents.
If not for them...it wouldn't matter.
If anyone knows who can help my 11 year old son, and 9 year old daughter for Christmas, without being told, "I'm sorry!" I would greatly appreciate it. I don't think I can handle another disappointment. Time is running out.
Thank you for any direction you can point me...I have not already been. Happy Holidays.

You must tighten up your spending- and these children are old enough to be taught this. We are all trying to think of ways to SAVE. You can do it too. You are much luckier than some people-you only have two children to provide for. And the man that helped make your gifts(your children) should be helping you provide for them. Make sure he is paying hiis share. He had the fun of making them-I don"t mean to be harsh-but things are gonna get worse.Put your education on hold if you have to, and get a paying job.
