Let's just add one more thing for the government to intrude on our personal rights and lives. I don't think the taxpayer's should have to foot the bill, but come America stop giving away your rights.

Houston, Texas must be prejudice, what are ---agheads and ---etbacks? Houston is so perfect, Yeah right! Your oppinion would have been good if you didn't target certain people. People in general who have this procedure is suitable. I'm just educating you so you can live healthy, I can't imagine how you live now and don't want to

I'm a mom and a grandmom and soon to be a great grandmother. I do not believe in having more children than one can afford. I do not believe that anyone has the right to tell anyone how many children they can have. This is not China.

Yes, it is wrong, but who are we to make this a law. What's next? Kill the 4th, 5th, or 6th child? Women hiding to have their babies? THen when we find them, kill them?

What are you people thinking??????

Yes, this lady is a nut!! A bonified, psychological nut!! Yes the babies will suffer unless adopted by finacially secure and "GOOD" people who want and can afford children. But to stop a woman from bearing children is really a scary thing that you people are speaking about.

Are you a bunch of Hitlers? Which race will you begin with, Mexian Americans? African Americans?
Asians, Anglos? Anyone? OMG! This is so scary!!!

ok, we tax payers have to foot the bill. Will any of you go broke to do this? I doubt it! Yet, you want to put a "limit" on the human race?

Abortion? I feel it's every woman's right to do what she feels is best for "HERSELF". BUT NO ONE ELSE SHOULD MAKE THAT DECISION. NO ONE!!!

YOU PEOPLE ARE SCARY AND JUST AS NUTS AS THE MOTHER OF 14!

Where are our local politicians on this case. I'm from Whittier and wonder where they are?
It takes a Senator from a little tiny { but beautiful } town of Grass Valley to say anything ??WELFARE needs to be reformed......it's the thing being abused by the most!! Not IVF !!! WHY THE FOCUS THERE ??? IT'S THE SAFEST POLITICALLY !!!! When a single parent OR family goes on welfare.....help them. BUT , when they CONTINUE to have children...those ADDITIONAL CHILDREN should NOT mean ADDITIONAL BENEFITS. This would SEND A MESSAGE that you can't stay at home and crank out children AT THE EXPENCE OF OTHERS.
Make these changes SOON. That way, MISS Suleman can proudly tell her children that she
was responsible for the reform of our welfare system and the last to SCREW EVERY TAXPAYER IN CALIFORNIA !!! YEEAAAAAA !!!!

Which government department would you like to put in charge of deciding who can and who cannot have children and how many? Nadya has probably already committed welfare fraud, but we'll see. If the gov't cuts off benefits, then we have the choice of watching children starve or giving the money through churches and other Com. Based Non-profit groups (these folks are already short on funds).

I would hope that our state politicians would be putting all their attention on fixing the budget and getting us out of this economic crises we're in rather than focusing on distractions such as the case with Nadya.
People seem to jump on Nadya for getting help and for having kids, but then they ignore the multinational corporations that are going to recieve tens of billions of our tax dollars so they can hire illegal immigrants and send most of our state's jobs overseas to hostile countries.

We have unscrupulous CEO's stealing billions in tax dollars and people are complaining about some woman collecting what is a mere ten dollars. In relative terms when compare what Nadya has been getting with what our legislature and our Congress is getting ready to give the biggest multinational corporations in our country. Think about that.

Who is really hurting our economy? Who is it that is really hurting the taxpayer? Nadya or GM/B of A??

Check out the Times UK article February 14, Obama Warned Over Welfare Spendathon

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/a...

Perhaps Suleman can cash in like the four sisters with 17 children in Wisconsin!

"In Wisconsin, the state that forged a pioneering path in welfare reforms in the 1990s, residents were astonished by a newspaper investigation that disclosed that a $340m (£236m) programme offering taxpayer-financed child care to low-income working parents was riddled with fraud and expensive loopholes.
In one case, a family of four sisters who had 17 children between them put all of them together, took it in turns to babysit them and over the past three years claimed $540,000 (£374,000) in perfectly legal state childcare subsidies."

"Perfectly legal" for taxpayer funds to pay low-income women to stay at home with their own children. How many mothers in two-parent households would love to stay at home with their own children but must actually work outside the home to help provide for their families?
All the more reason to pay, and get paid, in cash!

Rob, they all are, so why do we have to pick one or the other? Let's try to fix the system so it is fair for everyone.

Here's a law idea for you:
IF a woman/mother is entered into the State of California Aid to Dependant Children for Medicaid OR Foodstamps (or both), and/or a recipient of SSI (Supplemental Security Income - not to be confused with SSDI, the federal Disability Insurance taxpayers pay into during their working lives), she and her existing children/dependents, ONLY, will be eligible for aid.
Any child born AFTER first 10 months on public assistance will NOT be eligible for any consideration except medical.
Second child born while on assistance, and ALL BENEFITS are suspended, UNLESS child is given over to state for ADOPTION. PERIOD.

This would effectively DISCOURAGE the 'welfare career mothers' who get on aid and proceed to increase their benefits with every child they have thereafter...

BTW, I am a single mother of two teen boys, who DID, only three times (both births, a few months before and after, and third time during a move to another state for a good-paying job) subsist on state aid for a few months until I got back on my feet (job, daycare, etc.). I've BEEN 'there', but NEVER stooped to abuse a system that is in place to offer a hand-up, NOT 'hand-OUT', to mothers on hard times...
Having children, whether deliberately or not, while on the dole is unethical and irresponsible at best, NEGLECT and ABUSE at worst.

It was just amatter of time before some crackpot pulled something like this off. She had this planned the whole time. I hoep there are tighter regulations and more of a watchful eye over thes doctors to prevent this type of abuse.

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Pisces

Try to improve your health by incorporating good habits into your daily routine; if you sit at a desk all day long, find ways to stretch your muscles while you are seated. Since the December holidays are almost upon us, it is a good idea to increase your consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. Before you know it, you will be tempted to eat nothing but rich, fat-laden foods; set some good habits now before you no longer fit into your holiday outfits.
