Does it truly matter what type of bike he was riding. He is gone. Tim is gone. His family is grieving and they will never know what actually happened. They won't know if it was a deer, another car, they won't know. You can call it stupidity on the riders who don't wear helmets but when you lose a friend or a loved one, you don't care at that point. It's done.
My Brother doesn't wear a helmet and he has a Harley, It drives me crazy. But he is going to be 40 yrs old. I can't make him. So while he has the choice, it is his to make. And while we will never know what happened to Tim, whether he was wearing a helmet doesn't matter at this point. That's just like saying if that person was wearing a seatbelt they would be alive, which is not necessarily true. Tim - you will be missed.

by far the saddest point is: a helmet could have saved him. it is the macho attitude that keeps riders from wearing a helmet. God bless his soul. his family and friends must go on with out him. senseless.
