Every posting from you "abc, asdfghjkl,Football " talks about your obsession with the guy. Its actually getting pretty creepy. You even started your OWN forum about him! Now your talking about him in his underwear during football? Gross, why were you staring at him anyway?? Its clear that you have a personal vendetta against him, so why don't you be a man/woman and deal with it like an adult. Instead of talking sh!t about him over and over and over again on this stupid forum. FAG you're just mad becausehe's in your way. You want that dick all to yourself, Queer!

Kiphart should quit wrote: I was told that the reason I received a $50.00 ticket is because Jeff Ratliff had told the Police Dept to start enforcing ordinances. First off, isn't it the job of the police department to enforce all laws? Secondly, why would Mr Ratliff have to tell the police to do there job, shouldn't they be doing that already? Initially I was upset at Mr Ratliff, but that was before I learned more about what was really going on. Apparently, Mr Ratliff had discovered Ben Kiphart, our chief of police, illegally burning (BREAKING THE LAW) and called him out at a public meeting. I was not at the meeting, but according to those who were, Kiphart claimed he was cooking hot dogs yet Mr Ratliff claimed it was not on his video, I guess that means he's still videotaping. I am upset because I received an ordinance violation and was forced to pay a fine, yet our chief of police Ben Kiphart can violate an ordinance and no ticket will be issued and no fine will be paid. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the police in this town are above the law. The police violate the same laws they enforce but yet no ticket will be issued and no fine will be paid. How can I respect a police department that opperates this way. Mr Kiphart, you need to do us all a favor and resign. You are no better than the last chief we had. You should read post #572 under Fortville Police Roster is full. It may help explain what happened.

What is there to interpret Jeff? With all your "big" words and bull sh!t talk about why you videotape people I have yet to understand why you think you have the right to do these things. You AREN'T an investigator, you AREN'T a police officer, and you AREN'T above the law. When are you going to wake up and realize that you are nothing more than a counsel member. THAT'S IT. You may have a few college hours or something in criminal justice, who knows, but it doesn't give you the right to parade around like you are important. Give it up

Please let us know who you can call that will do something about a complaint against the chief of police and know they will at least look into it, rather than just laugh about it. some Fortville citizens appreciate that someone will try to help.

Hmmm...I would say your best bet would be Councilman Jeff Ratfuck. He seems to know how to handle EVERYTHING that Chief seems to do wrong.

Give it up Well Tim, I wouldn't go as far to say I have a right to videotape people but since it's not against the law, why does it concern you? Are you upset with the paparazzi too? They do the same things. If you are doing nothing wrong then you have no reason to fear the video camera. I don't claim to be an investigator, but believe it or not I used to work for a private investigator and was involved with several undercover ivestigations. I am absolutely no police officer and i'm definitely NOT above the law. I am however a member of the Town Council, elected by citizens of this community to look out for their best interests. When my constituents come to me with issues regarding the community, they look for me to make something happen regardless of whether or not i'm in the majority or can even accomplish what they ask. As far as parading around like i'm somehow important, I find this hilarious, I'm nobody special simply a resident that was tired of the good ole boy network and decided to do something about it instead of talking trash like most people do one here.

Bad judgement or desperation is evident in the hiring of all of them. I get a good chuckle everytime I see one. They put Fortville on the map with the NATIONAL news coverage of their blunders. that gives a good laugh because its true

Funny...there are no parking meters in Fortville. And this forum is getting really boring. All that is on here are a bunch of whiners saying the same things...over...and over...and over. I suggest that all of you that are whining about the police department step up and apply to be a cop if you think you can do a better job. If you don't then shut up. If you have had a bad experience then file your complaint. If you don't stand up and do something about being mistreated by the police, then quit complaining.
