I still don't buy this story of a 16 year old walking around @ 1:30 in the morning on a school night to go buy a soda at the clubhouse of his Aunt's condo. A good mother would know where her 16 year old is.........
This young boy knew his killers. He has pis*sed them off along the way somehow.
Too bad he was not tucked in bed like most 16 year olds on a school night.
Shame on his parents.

You know Lynn, if you and half this town didn't go off half cocked with all your wild ideas not knowing what you are talking about, this world would be a much nicer place. I work with his mother and I was his teacher for 4 years. He stayed at his Aunt's house to take care of his cousin while his mom and aunt were at open house for school. Any parent knows you can't force a teenage to sleep - they go when their body tells them to. Maybe he was working on homework or just couldn't sleep - we've all been there. To intimate that he was out to cause trouble or anything else is outrageous. What were the other 2 boys doing out at that time of the night? To me it seems like they were the ones looking for trouble or neither one would have been carrying a knife. I just wish all of you would engage your brain before opening your mouth. This is a good mother who will never be the same - he was her only child. Angie -my love and prayers are with you and your family.

I totally agree with Cathy, if you did not have the privilege of knowing him or his family you have no right to judge! During a time like this you definitely do not have the right to talk NONSENSE! May God Forgive you for your ignorance!

His mother is an awesome mother and he was a wonderful son & person!

My Heart & Prayers go out to you Angie & May God Bless You during this extremely tough time!

I was part of the "Wyche" family and did have the privilege to know Damian and Angie. I know she is a good mother and am sure knew where her son was. Unfortunately, this can happen to anyone at any time. I hope whoever writes these senseless comments never has to go through the pain Angie is going through right now. I am a mother and thank God every day that I haven't. But, we never know.

My hear and prayers also go out to you Angie. May God give you strength and will to go on and continue to touch the lives of other children in the name of your own. Damian will live in our hearts forever. May God also welcome him and care for him until the two of you meet again.

Lynne...either you are not a mother or don't have a 16 year old. Do you honestly think everyone who gets killed in this world has p***ed their killers off? How do children who get murdered every day p*** their killers off. Honestly, think before you write. You are innocently killing your brain cells writing things like this.
Instead, why not say a prayer for this family who has lost someone they love. For a mother who will not be able to kiss her son good night anymore. And, lastly, for the parents of the two who killed him who (hopefully) didn't teach their children to kill.

Judge or no Juderment....fact is the boy is dead. Facts are what they are. If......Someone older would have been in control this would not have happened.

We can however justify any incident, but unless we
see the truth and block out how good anyone is or not we are still blinded by the facts and the facts are that the boy is dead.

This is very typical of the thied world contry that South Florida is. Dade County and its proud heritage of its Cocaine and drug dealings. A city built on Drug Money and proud of it.

Polititians and all have been on it from long ago.
The counterfieting capital of the world, drugs, insurance scams, auto scams, auto theft, corruption, phony doctors, medicare and medicaid scams. Every other day they are arresting everyone in the office of medicare medicaid scams.

Mayors taking bribes, caught with prostitutes.
What can you really expect from a society that is built on this foundation ??????????

The schools are one of the worst in the country. The Florida Loterry and its so called money for education.

Lets be real people. This is the reason that the North wanted nothing in the South.

The answer is move from Florida and you will see a diferrent society up North.

Where was the Parent ????? Just imagine the parent being there and saying no !!!!!! No you can noy go out at this time. We would have a boy that is noy dead.

Its eleven o clock....do you know where your children are at ?????

Wow i think that a lot of you people are very ignorant about the shit you said about damian.go educate yourselves instead of talkin shit about florida because stuff like this happens everywhere not just here so check yourselves before sounding like ignorant assholes.

And for those of you who said things about him having bad parents shouldnt even be talkin because you probably dont even have kids to begin w/ and if you do, you'd be surprised at the shit your kids do behind your backs. So next time you want to judge someone else's parenting skills, get your shit in check, cuz that might be your kid getting killed while your thinking your such a great parent.

f**k all you guys that think that damian's mother wasn't a good mother. i did read all the comments throghly and this is what i have to say about it.

to Lynne M: you need to realize what you are saying and where the hell you live. what century it is and everything thing else in between because there has been more worse things happen in florida.

whatever. i knew damian from middle school. i know how much of a good person damian is. he made people laugh when they was down and even though he had a hard time during his life he fought to be a happy and fun person.

we all miss you damian. you will always have a place in everyones heart that you touched. your in a better place anyways.

Damian spent his last day in my loving, peaceful, happy home with his girlfriend Sam (bubby), his cousins David, Anthony, Becky, Ricky, Franky, Alex, and me his aunt. He said he wanted to spend his day off from work with his family, chillin. He talked about how he had just taken the GED and was looking forward to becoming a fireman (always the brave hero). We spent the day helping him with his project of making over 400 buttons for breast cancer awareness. The buttons read "together we can make a difference". I told him, "Damian Together We Can Make A Difference", and he smiled. "ONE LOVE" brave lion. We often stay up late even on school nights watching movies, playing videogames, just enjoying as much time together as possible. Unfortunately, I don't like my children to drink soda so I never buy any or have any in the home. But children love soda and I just want them to be as happy as possible and enjoy as much as possible, I don't want to deprive them too much, so they often go down to the vending machine. At around 1:30 Damian was searching our home for change and talking to his girlfriend on his cellphone, he said he was going to go down to get a soda from the vending machine. Ususally one or more of his cousins would have gone with him but he was on the phone with his girlfriend so we let him go. Only to return a moment later injured. He didn't know the two that attacked him. He didn't have problems with anyone. He was not in a gang. He spent all of his time off from work with his girlfriend and cousins,(which are his best friends)at one of our family's homes. Hanging out watching movies, playing videogames, fishing, going to the beach, bbq's, wrestling, playing football. Damian was very proud of his family and where he came from. We are going to miss him very much he was the life of the party. We are going to miss his smile, his laugh, his joking and playing around, his sense of humor, his big warm hugs. Atleast before the rescue took him, I was able to hold his hand and put my other hand over his heart and look him in the eye and tell him "Damian, I'm so sorry if I was ever mean to you, I love you so much baby, WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH BABY!!" he was at peace.. Angie did a wonderful job raising a beautiful person that everyone loved may she find the strength to continue touching the lives of other children...

You apparently live in an upper midle class, But you talk Like Hialeah and Liberty City. Its Broward in an apartment complex not a residential neighborhood in the upper middle class.

With that type of talk you must know the killers.
