Pelham cop who saved would-be jumper: 'I didn't think twice'
PELHAM - A New Rochelle woman dangling off the lip of a pedestrian bridge over the Hutchinson River Parkway last night made it clear she wanted to die - even after a Pelham police officer pulled her to safety with her 5-year-old son looking on.

Brian...Just how many people, have sucsessfully commited suicide, by jumping into the Hutchinson River? Even at high tide or "moon" tides... what 3-4 feet deep? That person...a nut ball, her son needs protection, far from her, for life!
