I think these teens need to be punished as adults and treated like dirt. The death penalty should be enforced. Desere was a wonderful person, a strong independent woman whom I have always admired. Her nine year old Anthony was just learning what life was like and then it was taken from him. Jared was a good boy waiting to be a man. God bless their family and friends. We know they are in a better place than this cruel world with crazy people. This is what the society has made with time outs and people are afraid to spank their kids. Our children fear nothing.

Please think of the families of these teens. They have to live knowing there kids have committed a horrible crime. I knew Matthew and his family and Jarrod. Matthew's mom always taught him right from wrong it just looks like he didnt listen to it. I do think they should get the worst punishment possible but please remember the families of these teens. What would you do if it was your kid

I hope they get the death penalty. Everyday these boys should have to look at a picture of these people they took from this earth. Then when they think their life can't get any worse they need to die the way Deseree and her kids did. Eye for an Eye... I hope these boys burn in hell !

I knew Matthew from a few yrs back when he was dating my little sister. We hung out a couple of times & I would have NEVER thought of Matthew EVER doing such a horrible thing. Desere was such a wonderful woman & done everything she could to raise her kids the right way. What went wrong with Matthew??? We will never know. I do hope that the courts make the right judgment & give these two boys what they deserve. How could you do such a thing to your mother & two brothers???

how can people make a judgement without facts. Intent goes along way and none of you know the facts yet. Everyone is right about Matthew's personality and you should find out the truth before you spread lies and make quick judgements... when the truth comesw out some are going to regret what they have said and I know this for fact!!!

Those boys better be glad im not the Policeman that arrested them or the nurse that's taking care of the one that's in the hospital. If I was i would have a hard time refraining from ending there life. The only comforting thought i have is from the Bible.

Romans 12:19-21

These parents failed somewhere, anymous. Maybe they should be examining themselves and figuring out how their kids learned that murder and arson are methods to get what they want.

If the families want forgiveness for themselves and the monsters they raised, do something decent for the victims or the community.

The Thornton's were a wonderful and beautiful family! Desere was an upstanding and hard-working citizen and loving mother. It si outrageous that such a hate crime killed this family. If these boys do not receive full penalties, our justice system will be sending a terrible message to other delinquents!

Your statement is very contradictory. Do you really think you should quote the Bible in the same breath that you talk about seeking revenge?

hi everyone, Carolyn is doing much better. She actually walked with the walker yesterday for about 50 ft. It is a very slow go, but she is doing so much better. Can't wait to get her out of this hospitol and back home. Maybe the week of Thanksgiving. That will be so much to be very thankful for. She has lost 54 lb. in 4 weeks. This is the only good thing about this whole matter. Will keep yall updated.

I think according to this story that when anyone does this kind of crime that they lose all their rights. Give them the same rights they gave their victims. So sad that any human could do this kind of thing to another person.

I know Matthew's family in fact i am a teenager who dated him. He has a little sister and he always tried to set a good example for his sister. He made a horrible decision and i think he's sittin in his jail cell thinking i made a horrible mistake and is regreting it. Matthew's mom didnt raise a monster she raised a boy noone cant control anyone's actions.

The facts, the facts are that Matthew was violent and a criminal long before he did this to my family. Let's stop pretending he was perfect. And no "fact" can change what he did, there is no "fact" that excuses it, there is no "fact" that it makes it okay. And I'm sorry, but as far as his family goes, these posts are talking about the boys and what they did. His family isn't in question. What they did was evil plain and simple.

nobody wins win satan is allowed to rage. Please remember the souls of all and esp the mothers and the mother who was killed for her son. I do believe she was a real Christian and we should all be on our knees praying and I'm a sinner!!!!!!!!!!But do believe in Jesus

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Leo

Your sunny temperament has returned, dear Leo, as the Sun and Venus dance in Sagittarius and the marvellous Moon shines in your sign. Whatever the day has to offer, it should bring you some pleasure and laughter, so arrange something nice if you don't have anything planned. Your power to charm is considerable right now and it will make you a big hit with whoever gets the full force of it. But don't give someone the come-on if you don't mean it.
