I recommend contacting Michael Griest and offering him a per diem position as Interim/ Superintendent-Ombudsman. He is Highly qualified, and respected in the community.
His pragmaticism is the antidote to our present educational malaise. He remains accessible and has extensive connections with our growing Hispanic community. His bilingual/bicultural ties will allow the district and community to rapidly negotiate the "Road To Excellence."
