An Adams County couple is accused of causing the death of their 18-month old daughter by leaving her in an overheated room, according to media reports. Jesika Case and Jeremy Cox, both 26, are charged with negligent homicide and endangering children, WKRC-TV (Channel 12 News) is reporting. Case is held at the Adams County jail. Cox is at the hospital undergoing drug testing. Jailynn Cox was put to bed about 11 p.m. Tuesday night. Case has told authorities the room was cold, so she turned the space heater on high. When the toddler didn’t wake by 10 a.m. Wednesday, Case said she went in and found her daughter unresponsive. A neighbor called 911, and a postal worker tried to revive the girl until paramedics arrived. She was pronounced dead shortly after she arrived at a hospital. Officials say the small room was heated to about 120 degrees. Two other children in the family are now in the custody of officials. An autopsy showed no physical signs of trauma on the child. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20121214/N... |

I don't care if the parents where on NARCOTICS or not, the fact is, their neglect killed that kid and they might as have murdered the kid with their own hands. Typical white trash.
