Ma Wilsons are ok... But the ambiance was horrible. You would think the owner would put some money into that place. Fix it up a little... Looks all closed up and unappealing like the rest of the town... Not only the ambiance... but the hours of operation... what was that all about. If you werent there at the 'butt crack' of dawn....NO donuts for u. Thats just ridiculous.. I understand you dont want to have to be wasteful or anything but come on... At least eagle and C and T are open and for a decent amount of time... Sometimes you want that mid afternoon sugar rush and Mas wasnt available.

From what Francis told me, Julian said he was read for her to give it up. She was extremely sad and it weighed heavy on her heart at the time. I believe all of their children have graduated and are in college. Maybe it was so they had the extra freedom to come and go to visit.

"just a reg joe" have you made ANY POSITIVE contribution to ANY of the discussions?!?!?

You moron! Hobbs is where my server is out of!!!! Yes, you have had some excellent points that would take $$$$$ but the negative was not necessary. There are far too many nay sayers in this community already who do nothing. They are not active in any civic group or do not volunteer in any way. They don't even take the time to contribute at their kids schools but they holler the loudest about "how bad things suck in this town".I am a firm believer if anything is ever going to change in this town it is going to have to start with the mentality.

hey TRUE, thanks for noticing this person's obvious butchery of the spelling of the word B-U-S-I-N-E-S-S ONCE again....
As for you Anonymous, you are right;I dont own a business here. I have noticed that you fly to the defensive with a quickness. Why would my opinion matter to you? IT is a public forum... I am speaking my mind... And if I might add, your hostility really says a lot about you.
Pecos is not a bad place. It has just fallen upon hard times during economic downturn. Hopefully with the oil and natural gas picking up again the city can go forward with all its plans.

Oh so now you are an expert on people too! Wow you're so lucky to know so much. I know you are just speaking your mind, but you are a bit harsh.

Didn't claim to be an expert about anything, sir/madam....Was merely making a declaration, that's all. Yeah, I am pretty lucky to know so much. Always remember knowledge is power. A quick wit and a little humour dont hurt either...
Nah...didn't think I was harsh... Just to the point.

LOL whata joke everybody cant wait till the next boom........ wait so we can pass another bond election or say that we need to make the hospital bigger or maybe we need to give a tax break to a local business man that says he will build this fantastic complex LOL what a joke all he did was close off 9 holes at the golf course .Wake up people and figure out who is making all the money in this town and then vote that way say you are tired of it nobody wants to move to a town that only has one grocery store has third grade meat water rates are to high because the city wasted away the grant they recieved ,or a town that the PEDC lets people come in and dictate to them the taxes that want to pay .Everbody can talk big but do they have the guts to back it up .

they aight... kinda too doughy and yeasty for me. Not a big donut eater though. Eating too many will give you the appearance of Homer Simpson. Do away with all the bakeries. Put up fresh fruit, salads, and juice. Turn Ma's into a Jamba Juice!
