As someone close to the source, I can tell you, YES, there is a quota. All of the "foot soldiers" with the SP have fought the system and have tried their best to assure that they are being professional and fair. Yet, administration has now started to punish us for failure to "meet the minimum performance standard." There are some of us that have been written up for insubordination for failing to meet quota.
Something needs to change. We are THRILLED that this has finally come to light! Maybe now we can get back to the business of being professional law enforcement officers, instead of ticket jockeys.
