No, Walmart nor Massey!!! Logan is a bunch of scab asses that is to stupid to join a union without even trying to orginize one. Massey and Walmart likes the odds of one ignorant miner or cashier against an army of attorneys and pr people. You should both know the feeling of the deer in the headlights. Go ahead and suck for a living instead of being able to just work for a living and holding your head up high. When you're at work look over at your buddies and say to yourself do I trust him. Sure you don't, he's job scared like you are. He doesn't trust you either. I know what you're going thru more than you realize. And for the Massey wives, bash me all you want. All that tells me is that I care more about your husbands than you do. Defend Massey now and curse them when your husband is gone or mangled and throwed away.

walmart lets on like a union would make it worse when in fact it makes it better for the customer and the people who work there. Everyone has to do their job, just their job, and no one gets pulled all over to do stuff in area's they have no clue about. if everyone is in there place the customers get waited on the job gets done, walmart lets on like it would make it worse but it would make it better

Unfortunately with 9.7% national and local higher unemloyment now is not the time. It is an employer labor market. I am not anti- union. Unions have given us over 40 hr overtime pay, children under 16 not exploited, paid vacation, and other benefits, but now is not the time.

Where I live Wally World is staffed mostly by persons who do not speak English and what's to stop them from busing them into Logan?

....and last I heard..the union aint paying!

The Consumers' Advisory Board of the National Recovery Administration (NRA) mobilized consumers to support better working conditions for those who made and sold goods. The NRA's Blue Eagle campaign identified businesses that complied with NRA standards and appealed to consumers to buy Blue Eagle products as their patriotic duty.

They need something, maybe pass out joints at the door. At least then I'd be too stoned to be depressed about doing 9 other people's jobs.

Ummm, when I was in college I worked at a grocery store. In which I did EVERYTHING except produce, cut meat, or work in the office. The whole store was my responsibility, to unload trucks (alone usually)(don't even get me started on the fact we only had a manual pallet Jack/hand truck those damned canned food pallets) stock shelves, alone, clean-sweep, mop, buff, the whole store, pick up trash on the parking lot, retrieve shopping carts off the parking lot, take out trash, I was milk man and freezer boy, all alone. No crew involved. And when one of the girls needed a break, I'd run a register. All of this was a nightly responsibility for me.

So I guess I could of whined about my responsibilities, but I took it all in stride.

The store I worked for rhymes with "slave a lot".

Not whining. Showing no matter what these 7 other peoples jobs you supposedly do are normal responsibilities for many other places of employment. Is walmart really promising it's employees that you are only responsible for one thing?

And if you can't handle working in a retail/grocery store without thinking of ways to use things found in lay a way to off yourself because you feel overworked, you show how lazy you are.

I'm saying you work a job that is an equal oppurtunity employer, that we see many mentally challenged individuals are given jobs in other cities/states and yet we don't see them complaining.

Basically a tard can do your job. Apparently better than you, without all the whining.

I really think wal-mart should go union. I work there they treat the workers like shit. They cut their hours. Make one person do three different departments by there self. Not to mention all of the other stuff. A union would make A world of difference for the wal-mart workers. If you even mention any thing about union when your on the clock you will get fired.
