Perhaps the county judge should read up on the laws.

An "open" meeting means open to any and all.

I think Judge Carrington is doing a GREAT job. If we want to look or have someone look up laws then maybe it should be JP Skinner,
Keep up the great work Judge.

Does JP Skinner conduct the county commissioner's court meetings?

Ted's violation of the open meetings rules has already been reported!
This is a serious violation!
To order someone to sit down and then make the statement that they don't need anyone else in meeting.
Well that stands on it's own!
To allow persons to speak that is not on the agenda is another.

Do the judge, county auditor, sheriff, jail administrator, and judge's secretary have a meeting each morning in judge's office where they plan county business over coffee and donuts? I understand the meetings start about 8:00 am and continue until about 9:00 am.

Some say this is an everyday thing. Is it an official meeting? Is it open to the public? Is it BYOD (bring your own donuts)?

This is one of those blogs where a dumb idiot starts with a comment and waits to see if anyone will reply. Then when only one person does or none, the same dumb idiot makes another comment more stupid than the one before. I hope to God that this person has not made their way into a semi-responsible position in the county or is trying too in the next election. I just can't wait to see what other child like remarks he or she has to say next. I guess there is no use in being an idiot if you can't show it.

Because you do not agree, you call someone an idiot. There are sides, obviously you and I are on different ones.

You use the words stupid and child like as if you are more knowing and much smarter. I don't think you are either. My guess is you are one of the "lackys" at the courthouse, trying to preserve your job.

Maybe you are one of those who has been writing to Judge Newsome trying to get him to go against the 3-2 vote by the commissioners to do away with the auditor position.

Curious's guess is wrong, I do not work at the courthouse. But I knew he/she would not be able to resist posting more false and twisted information. I never mentioned anything about an auditor or judge in my post, just that he/she makes comments that are child like and stupid. Apparently he/she can not read or make assumptions very well. Like I said before, I hope to God this person is not in any kind of semi-responsible position in the county or runnung in the next election. The county would spend too much time helping them with the big words.

I am extremely upset with the unprofessional behavior in the Delta County courthouse. It starts at the top. The County Judge is a good man. However, it reminds me of going back to junior high when I walk into the court house and see all the petty gossiping and under handed things that are going on.
Quit the coffee clutch and everyone get back to there jobs they were elected and hired to do. Keep the citizens of Delta County on your mind instead of who is going to win the next election.
You are all adults so act like it.
