Loma Linda: Court upholds Measure V
“There is a clear need for workforce housing throughout California and a gaping jobs-housing imbalance within the City of Loma Linda.”
Measure V, a growth-management plan that Loma Linda voters approved in 2006, survived a challenge by a developer when it was upheld Wednesday by San Bernardino County Superior Court Judge John Wade. via Press-Enterprise

Developers have been throwing their weight around in Loma Linda for too long. With the ridiculous high density housing that the majority of the City Council has been approving, comes increased traffic with little or no mitigation; what leaves is Loma Linda's small town appeal and character. Thank goodness for the Courts in this case which saw through the bullying tactics of the developers. I wonder what kind of profits would satisfy the developers and to what end they will go to achieve them? I hope everyone that lives in Loma Linda contemplates which direction they want this city to go when it comes time to vote and to vote for a City Council that represents citizens rather than developers.
