It is located 50 miles south of San Antonio Texas, it is the largest city between San Antonio and Laredo on IH 35, there is a variety of things to do in Pearsall, you should visit it one day and find out for yourself.

Not really. I was there the days leading up to New Years Eve and basically there was nothing goin on!! My son wanted to play and the ONLY place was McDonalds and there was a party going on and it was packed. And if you are from out of town you can't rent movies from the video store, almost every restaurant closed at 9 maybe 10pm. Some or maybe 2 clubs were open, we were BORED and stuck there! PLUS the so called swimming pools at the hotels left alot to be desired.

I grew up in Pearsall, and it was a good place to grow up and it still could be, but they do need to do more about all the drugs and the activities that go along with that type of life style and bring in some more year round programs for the cities youth. For a small town thier are alot of negative influences we need to combat this with positive things, and also look into creating better and more industrialized jobs to keep people from going abroad to make a living, I miss being back in the town I grew up in but it's almost impossible to earn a living their and that really is an issue that needs to be resolved by the leadership in the community.

Elect another sheriff thats in to crime fighting instead of ass kissing and appointing family member to the so called Narcotics Unit, when have they ever made a substancial bust on their own. Their not going to arrest their neighbors/friends/relatives.

Absolutely nothing. I grew up there and it's true, unless you are into lots of crime, drugs and crooked law enforcement then it is not a place I would recommend visiting. Also, there is no Super Walmart or big HEB and those are the only two stores and most restaurants close early. It's just a really bad place and if you find yourself there, run and run fast!

Born & Raised. and still here. I agree Pearsall is boring, diminished, tainted corrupted and drugs everywhere. But its HOME. A place you will always keep in mind. Because it where you grew up. where you may still have roots. Like it or Not. Tell me what city, town or state does not have the same problems. Easy to see others fault but or own.

Besides the fact your spelling and grammar is not even elementary school level, you do not know what is going on in Pearsall. The PD under s new chief has busted more dope pushers than ever before and solved more murders, thefts and such. The county screwed up the Homeland Security emergency management and there is currently no program. This week the commissioners fired the guy who was being paid for doing nothing for the last 7 years and by year's end the city will be protected. As to the streets, over 40 days of rain has ruined streets all over the area including San Antonio. Don't be so proud of your stupidity and ignorance. Wait til it stops raining and then start on the streets 60 days after as the undersoil has to dry.

Oh please Methinks? Hey I would look at what I am calling myself before I talk about grammar. Oh and the "PD" that Pearsall has is or was probably covering up those murders and probably clients of those dope pushers so that is probably how that was solved, man who are you trying to fool here I know how things work in Pearsall. True on the streets thing, but you know cleaning up the town is a community effort and we need to have someone else besides crooked cops and shady judges running it.

Every one always seems to be waiting for some one to come from the outside and clean a mess up. I was born and raised in Pearsall. I do plan on going back after I retire from the Marine Corps. I will be bringing back 3 boys hopefully 4 cause we have one on the way and I don't know yet if it is a boy or a girl. One thing I do know is that my values are set in stone as will the values that I instill in my kids. I care less what any one does around me or how any one else raises their kids to be crooks, drug pushers or just plain ignorant. My children will be brought up proper and be taught to respect other as they have been for the last 11 years. I don't bother with trying to police every one else around me as long as my yard is clean and what they do does not affect my children. Here is what I am going to try and do and this is in about 3 to 4 years; In my time in the Corps and many countries traveled all over the world, I have come to realize that to influence change around a place you have to reach the young kids. So in about 3 to 4 years I will attempt to do that and I will make it a good life for my kids to grow up and learn the same values that I learned growing up in that very same town. Any kids that hang around my children will learn the value of respecting others. I grew up learning the value of a dollar and my kids will do the same. They will too earn their money out in the fields and learn how hard work pays off in the end. Maybe just maybe I might try and crack that corrupt police force we have in Pearsall by trying to get elcetd into some office for the city. Problem in Pearsall is obvious and has been for many years which dates back when I was running around as a young kid. That is that all elected officials and most that are in office in Pearsall are all related. They elect each other and give themselves positions of authority and keep their positions thru family members. If ever I get elected to a position where I can effect change, change will happen. One thing I have learned in my years of service and have practiced is that their is no grey line between right and wrong. It is clearly defined and must always be practiced as well as preached. Something that would blow peoples mind is that I am not influenced at all by people trying to get favors for their benefit. If you are worried about what is going on around you and you can't control it then just police up your own yard. If you don't then you will just add to the problem. The key is not to concern yourself with what other people think. If you do right then what can any one say. I have been asked this question many times by my young Marines because I have been literaly all over the world. "What is the best place you have ever been?" My answer is always the same and always will be...that is Texas...The only place I know like the back of my hand is Pearsall Texas. For those of you that will make sly comments or ignorant remarks about my post...I say to you...You had better hope that our paths never cross.

Stop blaming the police for all the problems in Pearsall. Just drive around the neighborhood and look at all the overgrown trashy properties, stray dogs, junk vehicles, drunks, 14 year old mothers, drug addicts and thiefs. Most of these fools are inbreads, their all related in some fashion. We need Mr. Marine to come in and shape up this town.
