My prayers go out to the Harper family. It is my opinion that David did waht he had to do to protect his nephew and himself. The harrassment from the individuals was an ongoing thing and David just got tired and they caught him on the wrong day. He had to protect himself and his nephew. He did what any parent would do for their child and themselves.

From my personal dealings with David I know what type of individual he is. Now on the other hand as an observer I have seen some of the ruckus that Dewayne (Bookie)Towner has been envolved in along with some of his friends and in some cases family. I hope that David will take this as a learning experience and that he will hold it together and remain strong. And as for the Towner family I feel bad that they lost a loved one. But this goes to all that know how Karma works if you continue to do bad things to people you will get it back in return and as for Dewayne I think that now he will realize that his actions carry consequences and that some times he might not be the one that has to pay. I feel bad for the Towner family because of the people trying to make it seem like David was a saint knowing he started more problems with people than anyone they probably know.He was always trying to be this big bad guy and finally he tried to play hero in a situation that didnt even involve him and the situation pinned him in a position where he had to end up taking someones life. I hope that the judge and jury do not let them say it was an act of self defense when supposedly they hadnt even found another weapon besides his. Murder is murder and people should stop getting away with it.

It has been an on going fued between Bookies crew(carthage guys)also known as RLG "real leake county gangters" and Davids crew(thomastown guys) for as long as 3yrs, These carthage guys are known for ambushing any1 from T-town if their caught alone. There was 1 major incident which left 1 T-town guy in acoma after he was beatn& left 4 dead, 2.the weekend that Peewee was killed he had just jumpd on another T-town guy at the club,3.they even jumpd a guy while postd at the carwash, i could go on&on. During these fights carthage guys are known 2pull out guns but never use it. 2sum it up A person will only take so much. Bookies crew is a group of guys that have nothing going n life, dont work, and envy everybody that does. First of all, to the ones that don't know David, need to keep their mouths closed and second of all, David is not a bad person at all. He's a very sweet person and I love him dearly. I hate those stupid ass boys had to pick him to do what I know he never thought of doing.If I was in that situation, I would have done the same thing. David just lost his sister last year and now this. I feel like he did what he had to do to protect himself as well as his nephew, who has seen and been through a lot.All the way around it was self defense and anybody with common sense should know that!!!! As a friend of David my prayers truly goes out to his family, they have been through so much and now they still are going through stuff. I'm not gone comment on what happened cause I wasn't there and I don't know exactly what went on only rumors and you can't go by what people say if you wasn't there to see or hear it for yourself.
