Supervisor vows to stop animal abuse in county

When Pearl River County supervisor Sandy Kane Smith went to the abandoned gas station in McNeill, nothing in his life prepared him for the sight and smell of the dead and dying dogs abandoned there.

I know for a fact this statement was not exactly the truth. People that are in our law enforcement or hold any position with authority need to tell the truth. They need to ask themselves [ Did they do their job to the best of their abilty and was it pleaseing to God . I wonder if they can lay their heads down at night with a clear concious.
I also wonder about the law enforcement of PRC if it were their children, would they want them to be treated they way they treat our children . I have seen wrong doing first hand and they were out of line . If this makes one person change and think about what they are doing it would be wonderful.

I am so glad that they are punishing these people that abuse or neglect their animals. If you don't want the animal give it away. I have been struggling with the choice to report an animal neglect case myself, (do to bad experiances with disrespectful police around here) but after reading this I know what I need to do.
