Are they ripping out all trees and plants ahead of time to show the expected beauty?

The end result will be an object of beauty, unlike your shabby rental shacks.

I wholly support Mayor Caldwell and his efforts to complete our rail system in congestd Honolulu. Freeways and buses just won't work - especially as the City opens more agricultural land for development to increase the real property tax base that supports county government. People need to understand that development of infrastructure from subdivisions will lead to growth inducing impacts

Hey dumbass, did you flunk reading comprehension? The city fatherfckrs knowing that development would foreclose on future open space options chose development of the central Schofield plateau and the Ewa plain because of the future kala ($$) it would receive from property taxes. By opening development in these formerly agricultural areas, population shifted from Honolulu to Ewa. When you have plenty people in one place, you no can move quick - this is called gridlock. So the City fatherfckrs, knowing full well that there would secondary and cumulative impacts to da environment said let our kids worry about gridlock (translation - we got our kala and we can retire and die in peace and the moopuna can go fight about how to move plenty people from one side of the island (where they live) to the other side of the island (where they work).

So sad that I have tormented you. I feel terrible. Please consider moving to Hawaii because our state abbreviation ("HI") is so much more friendly and less upsetting to you than "AZZ."
