How's about this policy for felony offenses? Three strikes, and you get the death penalty. Seems fair to me.

First time - OK, anyone can make one mistake. But remember, we all know the rules in advance. You get two more chances.

Second time - you should've learned the first time, but only one more chance. Don't blow it, or you die.

Third time - See ya. Make room for people who can at least coexist with others, hopefully even make a positive contribution to society. We're tired of putting up with your cr*p, and we don't want to pay for your room and board in prison either. Better luck in your next life.
