I predict that no solution is possible to resolve this school furlough crisis. There are too many hypocritical people not willing to compromise and negotiate for the good of the community, too many union bosses each having his own agenda.

Leslie Vanberg and the rest of the like-minded sheeple should wise up to the fact that their so-called "global warming" has actually been "global cooling" for the past 11 years...duh! NOAA's satellite measurements of earth's temperature has proven that fact. Wise up, lolos, you're being used as useful idiots by greedy, corrupt, self-serving politicians!'Nuff said...

Or the truth as YOU want it to be.
I've been doing some research, haven't forgotten about this.
One thing I found is that the Big Island is sinking about as fast as sea level is rising. So when you combine those two factors with the normal rate of erosion, you are probably closer to correct about that lighthouse.
But as soon as I can prove that people are causing the global warming, you'll be the first to hear it.

Don't let the cat out of the bag like that!
You need some tips from Big Joe on what not to say and when not to say it.
Just tell the American People, that you will do for them, what Democrats did for the State of California.
Glad I could help.
P.S. Those Botox injections are making you look Marvelous Darling!
Changey, Hopey, yada yada yada, xoxo Big Joe.
Oh Joe, you're so sweet to notice my latest procedure! Thank you, really.
I would love to tell the American people how we helped our farmers in the San Joaquin Valley. We had to protect the "Delta Smelt" so we turned off their water. I know they think it's worth it. Sure, unemployment is at 40%, but who's counting. Oh, and next year, we're implementing a new program that I'm really excited about! Each new car purchased in CA, is going to have to have a new type of glass that will save a lot of energy. It might even save $20 a year on gas for the people of California. I know they won't mind paying for that...it won't be much more. I think that those pesky big screen TV's are going away soon, too. I'm just giddy about all that we're acomplishing here in my home state. I'd better be careful...I think my expression just changed! Bye Joe!

Is that still open? I thought we took that over and it wasn't doing so well. That was really the first thing we haven't had much luck with. On to bigger & better things!

I really don't care about your so called "data" of what teachers do or don't prefer. The only data I'm interested in is how much money the state is taking in and how it affects my pocketbook.
once again, you eschew and forego "data" in place of your twisted facts. you refuse to do any real research on the subject, despite being pointed in the right direction.

you choose to disregard the facts, and just continue to spew your hatred of teachers, regardless of the facts.

when facts fail, you resort to ad homeniem attacks - the choice of a true winner in life.

you choose to attack them personally, like they are personally responsible for your own private misery?

you want to know why you're such an angry, bitter person?

look in the mirror.

You tell me my facts are wrong and twisted and yet, you show absolutely nothing as to why or in what way. You say I have a hatrd for teachers and yet, I have said for teachers to vent their anger at the BOE, DOE and HSTA. I have also pointed out those teachers who try to help the kids as best they under these trying conditions but it appears you've missed them due to your personal anger.

You say I'm angry and bitter? Only if you want to take more money out of my pocket or raid any funds to keep your standard of living the same. I get even angrier if people start using the kids as hostages to get more money. So you may have a point. If that's what qualifies as an ad hominem attack, I'll take it.

Anything else you'd like to attack me personally for?

I have been reading up on the Global Warming/cooling thing, not fully believing that the earth is warming as fast as they say, or if even at all. I remember in my youth, the summers were amazingly hotter than now.

I came across a great article that all should read.
It seems there are as many scientists saying it is no warmer than it is cooler.

A British Scientist has been keeping articulate records since 1978, he said the earth has only been warming at the rate of .14 C per decade since 1978.
According to the IPCC (part of the United Nations)
it all makes sense now as to why we are being forced fed the warming theory.
In 2005 Chris Landsea wrote a open letter stating why he felt he had to leave the IPCC, in the letter he stated, he had concerns about the IPCC politicizing and their lack of neutrality regarding climate change issues.
That journalist were basically told to ignore anyone with perspectives outside of the IPCC consensus.
Since they, along with Al Gore, were awarded the Nobel Prize together, this is all making sense now.

In 2005 A Canadian Polar expert, Mitch Taylor, said not only were polar bears not decreasing, but they were, in fact. increasing in numbers.

To read the whole article, go to

Bukisa.com May 13, 2009 article 88515 Is the Global Warming the Issue or Global Warming?
It is well worth the time to read it.

Then I went back and read what the UN and far left radicals in the world want to do to the population,
in creating a gross emergency of either pollution or other world emergency pertaining to the survival of the species.
It all made sense now.

No point - others have informed you of articles and places to search for accurate information, yet you refuse to do so, or refuse to believe anything printed that contradicts your narrow-minded view of the world.

You spew forth opinions as facts, refuse to educate yourself because it might prove you wrong, and dodge the questions and calls for proof. What more can be done to educate one such as yourself?

When all else fails, you resort to personal attacks, yet you point the finger at others when they engage in the same tactics?

Pot, meet kettle.

lol! That would be your opinion and that's fine.

And since your attack is personal, there's really nothing on the table for discussion, now is there?
