Police in Michigan say two men were seriously injured when they were hit by a car as they tried to help a turtle crossing a road.

Absolutely. I too am an advocate of keeping our roads safe. I would say you do not go far enough. I think when a person gets their first moving violation they should lose their license for life and spend 10 years in jail.

If a person is ever found to be drunk then their family and all people that person ever associated with should lose their license for life (the drunk might drive another person's car).

And most importantly, anyone found thinking irrationally (due to some mental disorder or madness) should have their license taken away for life.
