Every loser that gets a DWI should lose their license for LIFE and be thrown in Jail for 5 years, that should stop these losers for good.

"Derek James Redmond of Mount Clemens was arraigned on charges that include drunken driving. A preliminary hearing is set for July 1."
Well, is this turd being held until his hearing? Or was he released to drink and drive again? Another incomplete and half-assed written story report courtesy of Newsday's apprentice team of reporters. I know it was credited to AP, but would it hurt to pick up the phone and call the Harrison Town Police Department? Or is that too much to ask for an inside news desk reporter to do on a Friday afternoon? |

Absolutely. I too am an advocate of keeping our roads safe. I would say you do not go far enough. I think when a person gets their first moving violation they should lose their license for life and spend 10 years in jail. If a person is ever found to be drunk then their family and all people that person ever associated with should lose their license for life (the drunk might drive another person's car). And most importantly, anyone found thinking irrationally (due to some mental disorder or madness) should have their license taken away for life. |
