Santayana said it best,"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
There are any number of good reliable sights that show how our taxes are spent. Some of you young Know-it-alls need to try a little research before you comment.

If you have no interest in looking in to the federal reserve, fiat currencies, monetary policy, and hyper inflation, then I have no interest in bothering with you. You both are far too trusting of the system which bred your sheep-like behavior. You both probably believe there is a fundamental difference between the two candidates as well. Television will do that to you.

Out of the kindness of my heart, Im going to continue providing you videos on these subjects. If you wish to entertain an alternative viewpoint, you are more than welcome. If not, I wish you the best of luck in your closed-minded goals of 2012 and forward.

I think people are trying to get you to look up some information yourself.Something more reliable than You Tube videos.I come from a generation of open-mindedness.I have heard of all these things you are talking about.I have real life experience of how government decisions affect this country.Try reading instead of watching videos.Do real research, watching cartoons on You Tube is not research.
MOst of us are well aware that there is not much difference in the candidates.I personally believe that the two parties are in collusion behind the scenes. The real power in this country is in the hands of wealthy and powerful business men,who control both parties and the Congress. Please don't throw Peace and LOve at me when you don't mean it.If you did you would have more interest in feeding and helping poor people.

I completely agree with you on the structure of power in this country being in the hands of the obscenely wealthy, however this able to happen because of the exploits within our own system.
http://www.factcheck.org/2008/03/federal-rese...
The above articles information comes directly from the Federal Reserve website, which I will provide a direct link to.
http://federalreserve.gov/faqs/about_14986.ht...
Facts about the Federal Reserve:
- It's not a private organization, however it is structured like a Corporation, given that it has private shareholders (from private banks) within the 12 Regional Federal Reserve Banks. It is not structured for profit in the traditional stock sense, however they do receive 6% dividends on their 3% capital investment requirements.
- Given that the Federal Reserve is an independent entity within the Government, it is subject to the whim of Congress. All Federal Reserve audits are done independently, and privately. There are no current public audits of the system which prints and controls our currency.
- The federal reserve has the ability to print and distribute our currency with our without the use of congress as its catalyst. The bailouts came directly from the Federal Reserve printing and distributing our currency. This in and of itself devalued our currency, leaving us at a AA Credit Rating from its former AAA (and AA+) rating.
Do you not see a problem with an organization that has no public audits, prints/distributes our currency, defines our monetary policy (which is supposed to be regulated by the states under the constitution), has private shareholders from private national banks, and can act independtly of Congress?
This should raise alarms from anyone who is aware of how corrupt our system already is.

My bad, I forgot to address a few other things you had mentioned.

Immediately dismissing Youtube videos as an unviable source is shortsighted. Of course if the video presenting information has no credible sources or comes from an uncredible source, it is substantially easier to dismiss as false, but its the same concept as judging a book by its cover. I reference youtube videos because they are far less cumbersome to present information than a long article with specific relevant exerpts.

To say that I do not mean my statement of Peace, Love, and Liberty because I do not support a system which provides for an individual or families sustenance so they do not have to is offensive at the very least.

I always reference the old saying "Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime."

Wouldn't it be far more moral to provide someone the means to take care of themselves? At least then you a forcing people to be responsible for their actions in the past and in the future, something this country does not seem to believe in anymore.

Yes it would if there were jobs to be had. That is the point I keep trying to get across to you and others.the idea that we should hate anyone recieving assistance cames directly from rich politicians and talking heads on TV and radio. Those in charge have been poisoning the public mind against the poor and lower middle class for about two decades. They are working toward the day when they can no longer be voted out or overturned.Over the last thirty years or so politicians have been keeping the public mind busy with distracting public debates over such things as abortion and gun control. The newest devisive subject is bashing poor people.this keeps the populace turned against each other.A house divided against itself soon falls. Not an exact credited quote, but it gets the idea across.
Everyone is well aware of the fed and it's problems, but what to do about it?

I agree that its not the people you should hate, its the system. It's broken and the only way to fix it is a full overhaul, which none of the present candidates will present. The fact that we are dividing as a country so heavily can only lead to revolution or full reprisal.

Begin with a public audit on the Fed, find out where our money is going, when its being printed, how much, etc. Let every single person in this country know if this organization which a bulk of our founding fathers warned against is screwing us over trillions of dollars at a time. Once the people are aware and angry, then change can really happen. With the current status quo and the complacency of our population, it'll take a miracle for this to happen.

Im glad we've been able to find common ground.

I will definitely understand if someone were to disagree with my view on this situation.

By supporting either candidates, youre supporting the same people who endorsed the bailouts, NDAA (and its reprisal), HR17, extension of the patriot act, and a lack of real attention to the Federal Reserve and/or monetary policy. Neither of them plan on dropping the budget by any real usable amount to make our way of living sustainable.

I support Ron Paul and will more than likely write him in, due to my conscious being unable to cast a vote for a person who truly doesn't give a f*ck about any of us or this country. Who you vote for truly will not make any difference for virtually anyone in this election.

Matt Conley!

You're a twat.

The fed has been around since before you were born, and stating that it is an evil entity is quite short sighted. But you knew that. This is basically a Ron Paul supporter, who is batshit insane.

No, we should not end the fed. Your statement about how Youtube videos are far less cumbersome than reading already offends me. Thing is, there are a ton of quack videos out there. Same goes for sites. Go ahead and let us see you post a credible news source for ending the fed. If you do that, I'll post two that are against you claims.

Don't listen to this man. He's a moron, and I'll prove it.

From the looks over your spelling and grammatical errors, it doesn't look like you've read much.

The purpose of the federal reserve is to provide cash when there is a run on the banks. As in... a depression where people do not think it's a good idea to not have cash on hand, in a depression, and then withdraw it all. Then banks fail, loans on ANYTHING fail, which, for most of the bigger purchases (which is pumped into our economy!) in life requires a bank.

So if the fed is gone, there is no fail safe for banks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Check that, sucker!

You want change? Stop thinking voting Republican is good for you. If you do not make over 250k a year, it is not in your interest. In fact, you're paying taxes the rich should be paying. They enable business, but big business can exist with out tax loopholes and breaks, and fucking the little guy.

Voting is a right given to us by our forefathers. That thinking is in line with "if you're not a land owner, you cannot vote!" like the slaves.
In fact...let me say this.

They should require illegal drug testing for any type of welfare including WIC and food stamp cards, and anybody that thinks thats wrong is either an idiot or a person that would lose their handouts due to their drug habit.

Not necessarily,I recieve nothing of this sort.No benefits at all.I do not believe in any form of drug testing, unless a job involves safety issues. It is an invasion of privacy.
Forgot to mention that I do not do drugs eitherunless you count coffee, aspirins and ibuprophen.

Very true, since those folks pay the taxes that support government programs, not the ones getting a free ride.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
