Certain people profitting off other people's trouble and suffering. Its one th ing for the newspaper to report indictments and sheriffs office report but the public display of arrest photo and charges is too much. How would feel if your picture was in there or a friend or family member. Do unto others as you would want done to you. If it were a deterant and stop peoples illegal action there would only have been a couple issues. So the arguement it will help end crime...doesn't seen to have had that effect. I doubt someone about to buy illegal drugs is going to say oh I can't do that I might wind up in crime times. All this does is line the pockets of people who want to benefit from others saddness. Stop buying and it will stop.

Keep your a** home or get your a** home early that would prevent a lot of it. Pick good friends. Don't do drugs and or hang out with people who do. Don't steal get a job instead and work for it. that would keep you out of trouble. If you don't have a license then don't drive a car If you are going party and drink then don't drive or show your a** in public. Don't assault a family member or anyone else for that matter. And for the dirty bastards that molested children keep your hands to yourself. If you will do these things and take this advice then 9 times out of 10 your picture will not be posted in this paper and our tax dollars won't be paying for your jail time. Its common sense stay out of trouble

They actually have those crime papers everywhere; that way people can see who the local criminals are and what they've been convicted of. I think its a good idea to give the people and the cops a heads up on what to look for. And who to watch out for.

Gliitergirl, you must be a hottie.... i mean looks and the whole package... Next time they stop you, use your cell phone and get a picture of the officer and reord his conversation.. if you do this and file a complaint, it will stop... but beware there is a cop watcher on the forum and he tries to cover them everytime someone posts against them. he will call you a cop basher... he doesn't think they do anything wrong...

Lawmen all over the world consider themselves a brotherhood, and there's nothing wrong with that. With the jobs and people that we deal with, its good to know that someone has our backs. Back home there was always an officer or two that wanted to think they were a little bit special because they wore a badge. Well, we are special, but not in the sense of entitlement. We are special because even with the opportunities of "getting a little something on the side", and taking advantage of others misfortune, we don't. At least we shouldn't. There is one word I always ask of my fellow officers to have. And that is honor. Without it, your just another Criminal playing Dress Up. Do what's right, and if you don't know what that is, change professions, and let someone else wear that "Badge of Honor". God Bless.

I agree it is embarsing for the family members. Wish the people that commit the crimes would think how bad it hurts their moms. But apparently it doesn't bother them. That's sad. I don't know it all and I never said that I did. And I agree death penalty forthe sick basterds.

If you work at MacyM you are breeching confidentiality by posting anyones name on here. A suggestion to you, this could result in disiplinary action such as loosing your job or being written up if you don't want to see that happen you should really stop. You should already be aware of this if you really work at Macy.

The information of the people being caught, arrested, and tried in court is already online. So what if their picture is in it? It's a small area- everyone already knows everyone else.

First off , I would like to say I have never bought your newspaper. Nor, will I entertain the thought to do so. With that said, When ever someone is proven innocent in the court of law do you publish a picture of them for being NOT GUILTY of the alleged charges? I feel that, whoever is the mastermind behind this publication probably created it out of some false since of "doing their civic duty" to make the public aware of whats going on in their backyard. The disclaimer that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and the grandstanding comments that your main focus is to bring awareness to sex offenders walking the streets. Is very much off the mark of what your paper appears to be doing. It seems like its more about public humiliation for your monitary gain. You want to be a real hero? Let the paper be free to the public. But of course we all know, that is not going to happen, you will capitalize on it as it grows in popularity. And how about the bigger picture? The messy divorce thats going on between a suicidal bi-polar ex wife trying to get custody of her child, and uses your paper as the vehicle to make it happen because the ex husband got pulled over for having a marijauna pipe in his car, that wasn't his? Real dangerous guy there. Just because the ex wife doesnt have public record of her illness and paints a warm fuzzy picture that the child would be better off with her. Now the kid is doomed and sentenced to having to take care of the parent so that she doesn't "go off" and hurt herself in the childs presence or hurts the child. I suppose if it does, then you will publish her picture but it will already be too late to do any real good. It would also be a shame if someone lost their job they needed to take care of their family because of your disregard for innocent until proven guilty. The demographic who buys your paper assumes everyone is guilty. Period. Maybe you should re-think it and not publish photos until they are charged. Most of them will probably be found guilty anyway. And you can have your false since of being an "Awareness Super Hero".
