After reading the article, the prosecution was irresponsible and Dwight Williamson done the right thing.

Maybe you need to get both sides before you decide who did the right thing....there is two sides to every story you know....

He's right. The prosecution dropped the ball on this one. The State must be held to a higher standard as all defendants have a right to a speedy trial.
The prosecutor's office has been a mess since Abraham left. Bennett is a good man and prosecutor but the rest of the asst's there are a downgrade from years past.

This case just shows the sad state of the judicial system in Logan County. The prosecutor was not prepared for the trial because they have no intention of allowing anyone to have a fair trial. Magistrate Williamson's own words were that it was unusual to have a trial and the system expects a plea whether they are inocent or guilty. Bennett lacks the character to be a leader so he just takes the easy way out by selling out to the politicans.

Chris White was miffed that Dwight implied that he was not ready for trial. But he was not ready for trial cause he wasn't even in the court room.

The jury showed up on time. The magistrate showed up on time. The defendants showed up on time. One trooper showed up on time.

Newsflash, for the two troopers that couldn't be bothered to show up on time and made the prosecutor who was present in the building look bad. Had y'all pulled that stunt on a judge up on the third floor, yall would have gotten a hiding from a judge you wold never forget.
A subpeana is not to be laughed off.
When everybody is there and when the magistrate is obeying the rules, its wrong for two guys to get by with nonsense like that. And the prosecutor shouldnt be taking the blame for two screw ups who cant be bothered to show up in court on time.

All that is true, but the prosecutor himself did not show up on time. Even tho he was in the building and working on the case, he failed to make it to court on time also. Some of the blame lies right with him too.
