Earth to Boston Youths, earth to Boston youths.
you are being out hustled by foreign nationals for jobs.
People immigrate to America from all over the plant earth they find jobs get a life without help from tax payers or government agencies BECAUSE THEY WANT TO WORK AND HAVE A LIFE.
Get off your lazy rear ends go out and hustle a job .

I was never given a job as a youth. I went out and found one. Why is the government responsible for everything now? The gimme generation is passing their values to their EBT paid for offspring to continue the D life cycle Sickening to say the least

What are the laws regarding work permits for young people? I have noticed that there are some teenagers who are reluctant to get work permits or get their driver's license? Even parents who have offered to make sure that the teenager has access to a car are baffled by this trend. And if the kids were using public transportation that would be fine, but many are not willing to do that? Lots of teenagers are seemingly stuck in a middle school mentality of expecting their parents to drive them everywhere and to provide money for nothing? Very strange. What happened to the idea of wanting to grow up and be on one's own?

you don't need work permits you need a will and desire to work.
as a kid I mowed grass , delivered new papers, shoveled snow, worked in grocery store as stock boy bag boy, carriage retrieval washed cars, always had money in my pocket
NO ONE GAVE ME ANYTHING I WENT OUT AND WORKED FOR IT.
But this was before welfare and government give a ways.
Ask the millions of immigrants from all over the world about jobs in America.
Jobs are the reason the immigrants are in America. Jump in a cab, truck stops immigrants everywhere and intercity blacks NOHWERE!
Join the USAF, USN Coast Guard, there are opportunities everywhere ya just gotta look for them.
I have no idea why blacks just sit back and do nothing.

Why did you have to go there with that last sentence? Racism has no place in an intelligent discussion. In my practice I have known more white people who are on welfare or disability than blacks. There are opportunities, but when someone assumes that just because a person of a certain race wants to do nothing, then it does make it very hard to be taken seriously and hired for a job. So are you offering a position to someone no matter the color of their skin or their religion or sexual orientation? What exactly are you offering this world besides your racist comments?

your practice must not be on this planet or Boston .
Facts speak volumes . My business takes me to major American cities and I report what I see on the streets as I travel.
Blacks in major American cities have the highest unemployment rate of any ethnic or racial group in America. Go to a job fair in your city take note of the people attending looking for work.
Business associated in NE tell me they can't find or hire blacks qualified in math, science, chemistry, mechanical, electrical engineering to do work in research product development. But they do find and hire lots of foreign nationals with the skills needed.
Blacks have larger percent of population receiving welfare. Go to a welfare food stamp office in your city town check out the population there.
Blacks have the highest rate of children born out of wedlock in America .
Blacks make up one of the largest groups in American jails prisons .
Immigrants from all over the planet out hustle black for jobs in America .
Blacks are involved in more violent crimes involving guns/ weapons than any other ethnic racial groups.
News stories appear in which blacks get into shoot outs at movie theaters, restaurants, bars and other public places. Over 500 blacks shot by other blacks in Chicago just last year usually drug or gang related, even black babies aren't safe in the hood. Check out Chicago Detroit Boston police reports for details
You gotta get out more read so news papers from other cities countries.
Call me what you will be the facts spell out the problems better than I can.

It seems you see the world from a very negative perspective where black people are concerned. So when you meet someone who is black, are all of these thoughts rolling around in your mind? Pretty scary, how many folks are like you? Maybe you should stay indoors, according to your own viewpoint, the world is just not to your liking. Stay in and keep your racial profiling off the streets. It serves no greater good.

Hi Crutch Dude,
Keep talking like this and you risk having a stroke or heart attack. This line of negative thinking is going to bring on some awful health problems. Chill out and hang out with a diverse group of people. Listen to them and share a cup of tea or meal with them. Pretty soon you will not see folks who are black as a threat. Really, black skin does not equal violence, poverty, or laziness. Maybe you just woke up from the Jim Crowe Era? Those laws and viewpoints have been relegated to the dark ages. It is ok, really, you can be friends with black people, nobody will tell on you or think poorly of you. And by the way, you never said what you had to offer for the social ills that bother you so much.

Beverly is very diverse. Who do you have these interactions with your landscaper and butler? Move down into the cities and have an honest not PC opinion of the world that we have to live in.
#12 Mar 21, 2014
Is Jennifer being sarcastic? With whom do we in Beverly interact? It appears that some believe Beverly is only for the wealthy? First, Beverly is rather small and even if one chooses to live there, we in Beverly venture out to Salem, Boston, Danvers, Peabody. So, yes, those of us in Beverly are not sheltered and actually have a diverse group of friends. And if the assumption is that we in Beverly are wealthy, wealth = opportunity for travel. And in my travels, racism or any kind of prejudice is not useful or helpful to anyone. It only serves to divide and create hostility. How does that help society as a whole?

Travel is so wonderful. Perhaps you could move down to Everett, Malden or Lynn to see how you enjoy living amongst the common folk. See how fun it is. You arragant twit you sound like a douche and obviously are.

ahhhh Beverly the land of diversity ?
Don't think so.
Try attending some job fairs anywhere in the greater Boston area. please take note of whom is there and more importantly whom is not in attendance.
Visit a welfare center take note of whom is applying.
unemployment is up over 25 % in the hood. yet immigrants from all over the planet surface come to America find work and live because the immigrants actually want to work. and these working immigrants don't speak ebonics or much English in some cases and dress like the rest of the real world.
Reading the paper I Notice you don't have a lot of drug deals gone bad in Beverly no babies shot in cribs in drive by shootings? Hummm why is that?
when was the last gun related homicide Beverly ?( must have been during the witch trials or the revolutionary wars)
ya gotta get out of Beverly see the real world see what's going on ( or not going on ) in the hood. Try reading some news papers from other cities and or countries around the planet.
Get a broader perspective on what's happening now

They're too busy electing those who want to keep making a punch line out of how this country was and making the divide greater Crutch.

Hmm, I moved to Massachusetts to get away from the prejudices of Alabama. Looks like I arrived to an even more hostile environment. Not only do I see a lot of racism on these posts, now I also realize that choosing to live in Beverly makes me some kind of "douche bag?" If Everett is so awful, why are so many folks living there if diversity is a problem? You do realize that Beverly is not just Prides Crossing. There are other communities in Beverly. Folks need to calm down and take a chill pill. Attacking others with rude name calling is only magnifying ignorance.
#17 Mar 22, 2014
After reading these posts, I try to put myself in the place of a teenager looking for a job. It feels like a hostile and unsafe environment in which to look for a job. By the way, most folks in Beverly are just middle class. Not sure why there is so much Beverly, bashing.

Frankly the race war will never be over. Blacks have never declared or announced what goal objective or quota number will be needed for them to achieve real equality in America and declare them selves equal or stop playing the race card.
Please consider the NAACP national congressional black caucus, urban league, al notso Sharpton , et al talk about equality in the most general of terms using catch phrases but they never define or declare exactly what or when America reaches equality in their view point.
the attorney general is quick to launch a full scale civil rights investigation when a black is attacked in America but he never launches those investigations when its black on black or a white is attacked?? something wrong with that picture mr attorney general who claims to be so objective so open minded.
Consider we have a black president, black attorney general many black CEO. CFO's & leaders in business, entertainment, sports.
In my view president obama is a text book case of "the peter principal", that text book written back in the 70's used in Harvard business classes describing people who rise to a level on incompetence.\
But the other blacks mentioned above in positions of leadership have earned those positions having shown them selves to be the best qualified in fact better qualified than others to hold those positions. They earned those positions and the big money that goes with the job.
America pandered to black too long affirmative action, quota's, welfare etc time for blacks to follow the lead of the successful blacks now in leader ship positions.
Blacks just need do the work earn hard and long for those positions you covet.
consider that Black players who reach the NBA work 24 /7 for years improving skills to reach the highest level and highest pay check. no one gave them any thing they earned the spot on a NBA team.
If blacks studied physics, science, math, engineering etc for years lots of doors would open for them also.
Or if blacks want to hang on to affirmative action as a crutch forever lets have affirmative action for whites also
How about a quota for Lithuanian or Japanese basket ball players??? Jewish or polish rapper quota sound silly doesn't it but its just as silly to be pandering to blacks in 2014.
Black have got to get off the couch get out in the real world attend job fairs hustle for job which are out there if they just look.
