We don't need another "F"ing burger joint clogging up our arteries and the roads. The people around there can't drive as it is! I so No! we have to much congestion on that road as it is!!!

I disagree with Fred, who does not live in Marlborough. I moved back to Massachusetts after living in Florida for 16 years. We had a Sonic in our town and it was a FABULOUS business to have. My daughter and son both worked there....one on skates and the other one cooking in the kitchen. It is reminiscent of the old A&W restaurants that I grew up with. These are family businesses that create jobs as well as foster fond memories. They are not your "typical" fast food place. People park their cars, they place their order and then someone delivers your food to you on skates! It's fun and will not add one bit of congestion to the road. It will probably take some off, since people are eating in their cards and not providing another distracted driver who eats and talks on their cell phones while by the way are driving. Sonic would be a GOOD thing to have and I for one welcome it! Fred, you may want to actually go to a Sonic before you sound off against one!

Just what I want my kids to aspire to, working at a Sonic. Wow, bet one was top fry cook! I wouldn't let my children embarrass themselves working a low skill go no where job!!!! Regarding Sonic, they are a multi-million $ company that hires people at minimum wage and makes them work while others are enjoying life. I wouldn't go to such a restaurant either...

My children were both in high school and worked to earn money for college. My daughter graduates this year and is going to Veterinarian school next year My son is in the architecture program at the university of Florida AND graduate from high school with highest honors AND an International Baccalaureate Degree. They are not free loaders ... they do not sit around waiting for a government handout and I for one am proud that they worked at Sonic and learned about life. It is obvious from your comments that you are a liberal and hate those who work hard and create wealth for themselves. Nothing wrong with capitalism... it is what has made this country great. 87% of the franchises are locally owned, which puts jobs and money back into the local economies. Sonic also gives a significant amount of money to charity each year, specifically education. They were also recognized as #104 of the top 200 small companies in America. No one is forcing you to eat at Sonic or any other burger joint for that point, but why don't you look for the facts first rather than spouting off your liberal vitriol by insulting hard working people.

I'm far from Liberal: "I for one am proud that they worked at Sonic and learned about life." So your children learned about life from Sonic. Wow, what an education program they must have! As far as your children, why are they working to same money for college, don't you make enough to pay for their education? Why put your children to work as slaves for a multi-million dollar company, when they will be doing that for the rest of their life anyway. BTW, being an architect doesn't really pay what most people think it does... I know many architects who have been working for years upon years and still can't crack a six-figure income...

This person "right said fred" is using others names and just causes problems here. He is actually known as Little Booby and people that know him have posted his personal information. he disappears for a while and then resurfaces. Nothing better to do with his life than harrass people.

I also think Sonic is a great idea. Something different and good.

I agree, he's been grazing on these forums for years and we don't care about his political views, he should take them to his grave...
