Just another day in Paradise. A bunch of thugs living in government subsidized housing, jeering at the police who are trying to arrest suspects who beat on two individuals in a roadrage situation. Then an idiot rides in on a bike, laughing at the police and yelling in Spanish? Whats wrong with this picture. Your tax dollars hard at work.

When are we going to get serious and toss these criminals into jail, instead of letting them out ? Especially the gang member from Shrewsbury, come on he had a FAKE ID and forged documents.

And once again, Judge Curran releases a criminal back onto the streets.

And NO respect either for the police...

Just another day with these punks. And they wonder why we want them gone and not in our neighborhoods. Who would rent to them, other than section 8.

The police wouldnt have needed to call in more cruisers for back up against these animals if they carried TASERS. Fight fire with fire. Nevermind the gangsta wanna-be from Shrewsbury,I bet 90% of the jeering, Spanish speaking crowd had fake IDs and forged docs. We're subsidizing their rent so they can hassel police and keep them from doing their job. And they wonder why prejudice is alive and well. The police are due an apology from each and every one of those spectators. Think that will happen?

So, the story is about road rage...... but the people who were beat up on had no idea why they were being beat up? But then they "happen" to find the suspects hanging out? "The female victim called police about 20 minutes after she left her car with police as evidence, saying she had "found the car" and her alleged assailants on Terrace Drive." So she went and found her assailants in Litchfield after being beat up? Somethings not adding up.

If your looking for pond scum, go to the pond. If your looking for sewer rats, go to the sewer. It all adds up.

This story reminds me of an accident years ago on airport road. Where an older resident passed away because of street racers in his lane and he swerved to avoid them. The people on the scene interviewed by police said it was spanish drivers with honda civic's. The police were pulling over every spanish kid with a honda that fit the description. Later they find out after investigating that it was the white kids who were on the scene after all. I'm not saying that this story isn't true but the fact that the S&E blames it on road rage and the victims say they were just assaulted doesn't come together at all. Also why did the victims go to Litchfield after they were assaulted?

Can't we all...can't we all just get along?

It will never happen as long as people live within their own tribes and refuse to learn the language of this country. Wake up Latinos!

Not only learn the language, but start acting like human beings and have a tiny bit of respect for other people.

this article is missing alot, what incident started it? passing on the highway? and why did she "find" her car? did they take it after beating them? It needs more, I cant stand that Litchfield. I dont think it is just the puerto ricans it is just the "type" that tend to hang in groups, i see white kids acting the same way hanging in groups, not all residents in that complexe are punks, but a LARGE majority are.I would like to point out to another comentor that i dont believe that is government run it is low income but its not government subsidized i believe. There are several complexes that are income based but not government, i have to say what they call "the projests" here in leominster, across from the pool, they are government run and i really never see or hear of trouble there. Litchfield thats another story,if you rent from the governemt run projects you can not live there if you have a criminal record these private ones its just based on income.

The vest majority of people in that complax ARE punks and assholes to boot.

I lived at 740 Central Street for a year of so when my fiance and I were just starting out. It was a disaster...cops there all the time. My car was keyed twice, my windshield smashed. And, if I had to park in the lower lot, my fiance insisted I call and stay on the phone with him the whole time I was walking to the apartment. The whole place REAKED of weed too....all the time. Glad to know my tax dollars were paying to support someone's drug habit.

That place is a hole. Central St. needs a good through cleaning.

"income based but not government." That's section 8 - the people pay rent based on their income and "the government" (you and I) pay the difference to the landlord. duh

Video surveillance in all state/federal aided housing. I bet the crime would drop. Invasion of privacy you say? Get a job and get out. Problem solved.

I'm wondering (along with a few others) where the "road rage" part came from...simply because it was an attack 'on the road'? Seriously?

Not saying that road rage would excuse the assault - but if they call it that in the article, why isn't the whole story given?

I hope those morons get what they deserve.

Funny - just yesterday I got an application to apply for a gun permit. Today I know that I am filling it out sooner rather than later.
