I just saw the Peabody police on TV sayng it wasn't about the money. If it isn't about the money, why don't they take the day off without pay?

How about working for FREE on that day and DONATING the salary to a charity organization ?
After all, its NOT about "YOUR" FINANCIAL BENEFIT, RIGHT ?

Enough extra bonuses and holidays for public servants. ENOUGH! You wait 7 years then decide you want to "honor" 9/11 by making it a psid holiday!?!? BS!
