Kansas towns giving away land

Full story: Detroit Free Press

Give us more people, and we can do some things. Without people, you don't have the taxes. Without taxes, you don't have the money. Star) Minneapolis, Kan ., has grown steadily since offering free lots of up to half an acre, but the downtown still has a small-town feel. via Detroit Free Press

Some towns in Kansas you could give me a free House in. I would not take it because the town sucks. Delphos, Minneapolis, Quinter,Ks are just a few. If you were not born and raised there you will always be treated as a outsider. They have two sets of rules one for the people with the right last name or lots of money and a harder one for the outsider. They have two laws the State and Federal Laws they dont practice. They have their own they make up as needed to harras someone. Thats why they are dying. Even their kids cant stand living there.

Glasco, KS is the best Kansas town we have lived in. They dont have to give away land because they are growing. They had a record # of real estate sell in 2008 and sold two homes so far this year. Be warned if they are giving you land there is a reason they are dying.

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Capricorn

Happy New Year, Capricorn! I don't think the hair of the dog will help much this morning! If you're socialising again today, keep a rein on your expenses, as there could be a slight confusion in financial matters. Friends will be at your side and bail you out if there is a crisis. Use your strong internal discipline to accomplish your personal goals this year.
