Sheila HTS is a Sick, Heartless Individual

Do those of you that respond to the venom and hate that is posted here not realize that she is a sick, demented individual who is spawned from the devil and the only place that she will go when she leaves this world is to the front seat in Hell that the devil has reserved for her. She has a right to her opinion, but using Christianity for her reason is so utterly ridiculous. Her son has the terrible misfortune of being born from her, and he is much the bigger and better person if he were to never see her again. Allowing her to get under your skin only gives her fuel for her hate, the best thing to do is to totally ignore her. She will go on with her hate and never realize that things are changing every day, and that no matter how much she spouts her hate, the laws will never be changed as she wants. She might as well give up and accept the fact that the day will come when people will be allowed to freely love anyone they choose, and there is not one thing that she can do, except to just make herself more miserable than she is. I am sure that she is totally alone in her life as she is so despicable that no one could ever love her.

You are one hateful b*tch. It's funny that you can attack someone with such venom as you do and then call them "filled with hate." Are you kidding yourself? For a peek at the devil's clone, take a look in the mirror! It's amazing how the freedom of speech is approved only when not confronted with opposition. A difference of opinion finds disagreement evil! Don't condemn others when you definitely carry the burden of being overly judgemental and critical. Try to find something useful to do with your life?

We know that. She has little support here, proving WV might have some conservative views on family life, but they are for the majority neither bigots nor haters.

She is proud of her hate, so recognizing her for it will probably give her pleasure. She has literally said that she is proud of disowning her son because he is gay.

I doubt that she is alone, though. There are plenty of people still out there who fuel themselves on hatred and bigotry. They are lacking in empathy, or have neglected to use it in favor of following some bronze-age code of ethics. They have neglected their ability to reason for so long they mistake parroting the thoughts of their religious leaders for using their intellect. They are good at enabling each other, and they enjoy being the minority and feeling prosecuted; it is a classic martyr syndrome.

The only joy from interacting with people like her is knowing that they are made more active by fear. They KNOW that change is coming and that their best efforts will not stop the evolution of consciousness and of our society. Their very shrillness is evidence of the changes happening despite their best efforts.

We can only hope that her son has found and created a loving "family of choice" since his family of birth was unable to transcend their hatred and fear to accept him for who he is. I have dealt with many young people over the years who have suffered such rejection, and while it is a difficult path for them, many emerge quite strong and help others along the path to self-acceptance and self-actualization. I hope he is one of the fortunate ones.

I suspect that Sheila has full knowledge that her son was always different, and that it was no real surprise when he came out to her. In my experience, kids show signs of their sexual orientation quite early, even before they hit puberty. But she rejected him anyway. I guess she did not really "bring him up in the way he should go" because he obviously "departed from it."

It is very important to Sheila to persecute and discriminate gay people because if she does not, it means she was wrong about how she treated her son. "I have wronged you and I hate you for it" is a basic phenomenon in psychology, and she is a textbook example.

I will not waste any time in dialogue with her, but I think it important to point out to all who and what she is. Whenever and wherever she posts, all should know what kind of person she is. All her old posts are in various threads on Topix and can be referenced and posted by anyone. If they gave out prizes for the most hateful people who have ever posted, she would certainly be a contender, and she is proud of it.

Although I agree that she it takes someone filled with hate to kick out and disown their child, you are just giving her unneeded attantion. Attention that she does not deserve.
