Two arrested in Pea Ridge slaying

HUNTINGTON - Two men are now under arrest and charged in connection with this week's shooting death of a man near East Pea Ridge Road.

They need to put him in a car with 2 men and one of the men holding a gun to him knowing his going to die but just not know when he's going to die, then he should have to try to get out of the car and try to run for help scared and frieghtened knowing his going to die and THEN BE SHOT IN THE BACK 2 TIMES WITH A 9MM just like TRAVIS!!!!! OHHHHHH YEALLLLL, MAKE SURE HE KNOWS TOO THAT HE'S GOING TO DIEEEEEE FOR KILLING TRAVIS HUFF!!!!!! Maybe that will help JUSTIFY TRAVIS'S DEATH SOME MORE!!!!!! Carles Blevins still has his life, he can still eat, visit with his family, friends and watch tv. Travis is GONE!!!! He can't even be here to see his kids, take them anywhere, do anything with them, he had plans to buy a boat and take his kids fishing now he can't and his kids are without him and they miss him, they need their DADDY!!!! These 2 HORRIBLE MURDERS took his life without a care in the world!!!!!! They don't care about what they did, but I DO AND I WANT TO SEE THEM DEAD!!!!! I have known Travis all his live, he's my youngest brother. I love Travis so very much and i will always love and miss him so much! Travis can't be here to tell us what happend! I don't believe it was a drug deal gone bad! The police reports read that Charles Blevins already had drugs and money in a motel room so why would they want Travis to take them to buy more drugs? If Travis was buying drugs from them then why didn't they take him to the motel room instead of to a known drug trailer? Nothing about my brothers death makes sense to me. I love you Travis forever and always.. You'll always be in my heart and thoughts.

I would just like for you to know that this incident WAS NOT PLANNED... i know for a fact that these two men were not out for trouble and that they did not set out to murder travis huff. I have known these men for years and i just happen to me married to one of them. They are good people and you have no idea what happened that night to make these men have to retaliate in such a manner.And as for your comments....i know that you are angry and you have every right to be but to pass such horrible judgement on people that you dont even know to the point that you want them to die and go to hell.. well that makes worse than them.

I understand the hate you feel for my nephew but in no way is harm going to come to him. We lost his dad as a result of a DUI and no one wanting to take the blame for it. My nephew is truly sorry and all the hate in the world will not change things. I to know this first hand because I have walked in your shoes and know how you feels to lose a brother but NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO HURT CHARLES BLEVINS I WOULD LAY DOWN MY OWN LIFE FOR HIM. For a long time he was the kid that I never had and I thanked my brother daily for him. My brother is gone now and he is all I have left and I will protect him forever. You talk about him being a cold blooded murderer but have you listened to yourself. What kind of human being are you to want to kill someone. Mrs. Evans how can you write that Donnie was at the wrong place at the wrong time when he drove the car. You know that Donnie was coming to Barbourville because you was dancing in one of the bars up there. i am not passing judgement on you but you need to know and realize the fact that your husband had my nephew up there. Also Donnie should have drove my nephew back to the motel insteaded of leaving him out there sick in your car. What kind of friend was that. Yea Donnie wants to play all innocent to save himself from prison. But God is the one person he cannot lie to. I love Charles and I pray that we all heal from this tragedy. No one is a winner here and alot of pain. I wanted to say nothing until later but I had to because all the Charles bashing is very painful to the ones that love him. Then I saw where Donnies's family is playing him all innocent and making me sick so it had to been done on the behalf of my family and the ones that support him.

I agree 100% that Donnie Evans should serve the same amount of time as Charles Blevins. Donnie Evans is just as guilty even though he didn't pull the trigger of the gun that shot and killed my youngest brother Travis. I can't still believe that they took my brothers live like they did, it's slowly killing me! I can't hardly sleep anymore, i cry every day, i had to give up my job cause i couldn't do my job anymore, life is depressing now, i don't know any more if i believe in God- the devil- angels- heaven or hell or what and i'm angry. Every day is hard on me, no matter where i am or what i do i see visions of my brother Travis sitting on that porch leaned up against that door dead, i see visions of him trying to get up the steps to that trailer with his one arm hanging back where Charles Blevins first shot him, I see visions of him standing there trying to tell Charles Blevins that he had kids not to shot him and i keep seeing other visions in my head too. I feel like Travis is out there lost and sad and crying and cold and he can't understand what's happened to him or why no one can hear him and i feel like he's all alone and like he needs us to help him still and I just don't know what to do for him i can't help him, i can't talk to him, i can't hug him, i can't bring him back. I'd do anything to turn back time and bring him back. I go to the cemetery to see my brother Travis and to talk to him and it so hard cause i sit there and i see him down in that cold dark ground all alone and it hurts sooooooo bad and all i can do is keep telling him to show me or come talk to me and let me know what happened that nite and how it all happened, let me know what to do to help him and to let me know what to do to see that everyone involved in his death is paying for his death, and i tell him i love and i miss him soooooo badly and that i'm sorry i wasn't there to help him that nite. I feel sooooo bad and hurt soooooo bad that i wasn't there that nite to try to save his life and to hold him in my arms and tell him to hang on til help got there. HE DIED THERE ON PEOPLES PORCH WHO DIDN"T EVEN CARE THAT HE NEEDED THEIR HELP AND HE DIED ALL ALONE!!!!!!!! I keep thinking he probably thought no one was going to come help him and he couldn't hold on long so he just let go, cause Bink and Crystal who were in the trailer locked him out instead of helping him and then all the neighbors did nothing either except watch it happen. I know one neighbor wishes they would have turned on a lite now. I don't see life like i use to anymore. It's been almost 5 months now and it's still just as hard on me as it was the nite it happened.

My deepest sympathy to you. I have seen you on myspace and cried myself. I carried the same feelings. I know that doesn't mean much to you and I truly wish that I could have changed that night. Charles is all I have left of my brother. One thing I will tell you from experience. Hate will comsume you and only hurt you more in the long run. One thing you could do is be strong for your brother and sue Sta's Bar put the money in Trust with you or your parents over it. They are responsible too and if we stay quiet about that then it will keep on repeating itself. They never even got nothing done for allowing Charles in there and Donnie might not either. We never got the truth from my brothers death. They guys balmed each other and I can only promise you that and hope you find peace. I so much relate to your feelings it ripped my heart out to lose my brother. You stand by his kids no matter what...

what you are replying to , i did not write, and i hadn't been to huntington in almost two weeks before this all happened. I am not playing donnie off as a church boy, we all make our mistakes. I know about all of Donnie family and I didn't lie about his real father now didi i ? I know not. Yea I think that I also know Lee since I was the one to introduce him to Donnie mother hunny . Your husband played like he was scared of Charles and if that was true then why was he with him until late the next night. The tapes from the cab will show how scared your husband was. Every day is hard on me, no matter where i am or what i do i see visions of my brother Travis sitting on that porch leaned up against that door dead, i see visions of him trying to get up the steps to that trailer with his one arm hanging back where Charles Blevins first shot him, I see visions of him standing there trying to tell Charles Blevins that he had kids not to shot him and i keep seeing other visions in my head too. I feel like Travis is out there lost and sad and crying and cold and he can't understand what's happened to him or why no one can hear him and i feel like he's all alone and like he needs us to help him still and I just don't know what to do for him i can't help him, i can't talk to him, i can't hug him, i can't bring him back. I'd do anything to turn back time and bring him back. I go to the cemetery to see my brother Travis and to talk to him and it so hard cause i sit there and i see him down in that cold dark ground all alone and it hurts sooooooo bad and all i can do is keep telling him to show me or come talk to me and let me know what happened that nite and how it all happened, let me know what to do to help him and to let me know what to do to see that everyone involved in his death is paying for his death, and i tell him i love and i miss him soooooo badly and that i'm sorry i wasn't there to help him that nite. I feel sooooo bad and hurt soooooo bad that i wasn't there that nite to try to save his life and to hold him in my arms and tell him to hang on til help got there. HE DIED THERE ON PEOPLES PORCH WHO DIDN"T EVEN CARE THAT HE NEEDED THEIR HELP AND HE DIED ALL ALONE!!!!!!!! I keep thinking he probably thought no one was going to come help him and he couldn't hold on long so he just let go, cause Bink and Crystal who were in the trailer locked him out instead of helping him and then all the neighbors did nothing either except watch it happen. I know one neighbor wishes they would have turned on a lite now. I don't see life like i use to anymore. It's been almost 5 months now and it's still just as hard on me as it was the nite it happened.

Our prayers go out to you and your family...I'm sure it is a very hard thing to go through..These boys have familys too that are hurting...How can you say you hope Donnie gets the same amount of time as Charle's does when Donnie's not the one that killed your brother...Charle's amitted to the shooting and evidently we are the only ones that think donnie was at the wrong place at the wrong time...This was not a planned murder like everyone is trying to act like is ...I'm sure it was a spurr of the moment thing and a mistake that these boys will have to live with the rest of there lives......No-One knows what happen but the people who was there and all of a sudden everyone seems to act like they know.....I just want to say once again eveyone needs to be praying for all the family's involved and most of all for DONNIE and CHARLES......

I am not trying to say it is all Donnie's fault but he is not innocent either. He may not have pulled the trigger but he sure as hell had him down there. Yes I feel that Donnie should have drove Charles back to the room instead of leaving him sick in the car. If that would have happened then we might not be here today. I was just simply replying my thoughts. I feel that he help Charles do this. I also wonder what Donnie talked to Travis about in the bar? I don't know but I don't think that Charles even talked to Travis at all. How did the money get out of his pocket? We don't know do we. I am just sick of you guys putting all the blame on Charles. Yes the guys made a very bad choice that night and I think that Charles should have picked his company a little better. Donnie knows who I am very well. I think that Donnie knows that Charles is not a cold blooded killer as does everyone else that knows him. So I don't think Donnie is as innocent as you guys are playing him on here so I had to speak out. My family is torn apart because of this and I didn't like it when I saw the comments about Donnie being innocent. That is not the truth and I don't care who you are. Charles will take responsiblity for his actions that night and he didn't need Donnie lying on him. He knows that he helped get my nephew drunk and he is not even old enough go get drunk. So yes I feel that Donnie was the reason it all happened...It is not all Charles fault and Donnie was not just an innocent by stander that just simply drove the car...

I can say i agree and hope that Donnie Evans gets the same amount of time as Charles Blevins for murdering my brother Travis cause Donnie took Travis to his car and he drove Travis to where Charles shot him and all this time Donnie knew that Charles had the gun and Donnie knew what Charles was capable of. Not only that, Donnie admited to kicking Travis really hard. Yes Donnie says it was to get Travis away from Charles but why in the world would you kick the one you're trying to help, you wouldn't. If Donnie really wanted to help Travis then why didn't he kick Charles really hard or knock the gun out of Charles hand or jump Charles. Donnie didn't wanna help Travis. They both had time to think up what they were going to say before they turned theirselves in and still they both tell different stories. Honestly i don't believe either story but i know my brother Travis would have never robbed Charles and i don't believe Travis was going to get them drugs either. I believe there is more to it all and i hope it all comes out soon because it's really eatting at me bad!!! The things we do know for sure are: that Donnie did kick Travis really hard cause both Donnie and Charles said he did -- that Charles is the one who pulled the trigger of the gun both times (that killed Travis) cause both Charles and Donnie said he did -- that Donnie was the driver of the car.
