With all due respect to Cpl. Rosen, selenium is toxic in small amounts dependant on the concentration and size expressed in part per million. Selenium as an element is between arsenic and bromine all occur naturally but it the manufacture of suppliments, are concentrated and more toxic.
On some other news sites, anonomous posters discribe incidents of nose bleeds, headaches and seizures in those employees working in the plant. I doubt that OSHA has any idea of the scope of this work enviroment.
I find it disheartening and suspecious that the company never mentions their concern for the family.
I would hope that Channel 13 would find out if OSHA is starting an investigation in the incident. Keep the heat on this company until we discover the truth.
