What the heck happened to The Korner.....

I was in Pax last week and stopped by Holley's Kountry to have a bite....Well I walked in..sat down..waited for someone to come take my order...and I waited and waited...(mind you I'm the only one in the resturant)15 minutes later he comes a lady over and stands there and says...Hi...I told her what I wanted...the food quality was pitiful....(cold, very small portions for what you pay for) and the service was even worse...I remember way back when the Kellys had the resturant it was always booming with business...you could hardly ever find a seat ever...now..it's like a ghost town in there...and the friendly atmosphere has gone down the drain...
To the Holley's...get some better help...friendlier people...you to could speak to your customers every once in a while...definately a different place now....

agreed I worked there with Vicky Toney as the owner She was serious and yet a people person she made us waitress be personable and I dont see that home atmosphere there at all now :(((

I worked there in the early 90's. It sure has changed. Food has went way down hill. Portions are a joke. No more nice desserts! And talk about service try letting the older lady wait on you and you begin to think you are in the twilght zone or something. The female owner tries to be friedly but her husband acts as if his face will crack if he smiles let alone speaks to anyone. Phyllis and Larry Kelley made Kelly's Korner work and that is a fact. They were not just friendly then they always are!

a few months ago, if you wanted a buffet to go, they would go and only give you what they wanted, why are you cring about this when you have a Pedofile in charge of the fire dept and a crooked mayor, and a total bich for her secretary?

He took it back over from his son and daughter in law but not Craig. Craig has never owned it, just works there from time to time helping his father out.
