from livingchurch:

"In proposing one resolution, the diocese’s standing committee calls it a 'Response to Ecclesiastical Intrusions by the Presiding Bishop.' That resolution refers to the diocese’s 'legal and ecclesiastical authority as a sovereign diocese within the Episcopal Church,' adds that 'the Presiding Bishop has no authority to retain attorneys in this Diocese that present themselves as the legal counsel for the Episcopal Church in South Carolina,' and demands that she 'drop the retainer of all such legal counsel in South Carolina as has been obtained contrary to the express will of this Diocese.'"

In plain English, butt-out Bishop Schori.

Maybe they should read a Bible on the rules for being a Bishop? It is more than obvious they have not. But then why should the Word of the Lord be heeded?

That's right, TA.

Dying to Christ, as directed.

Your hypocritical tushy is showing again, TA. Better pull your trousers up before Joe De Caro comes running to your rescue.

Look at the numbers, Ken! Look at the average age of the parishioners in TEC, Ken! Look at all of the losses in the last 20 years that have been escalating the last 5 years, Ken.

Can't defend or explain so you must insult. Way to go oh enlightened one.

Interesting way to judge, but you love your job, accuser.

So those with the highest numbers are correct?

You may want to go to a mosque, TryAgain, since you find safety in numbers..........

Who are you kidding?

TEC is terminal because it abandoned the Gosepl of Jesus for a political agenda.

Hey, George!

Good to hear from you, buddy.

It is true - your observation... I have never placed any other letters with the first three, leaving it up to you to complete the thought.

In fact, that's what you just did by suggesting that my previous post made any "filthy innuendo." Its a case of what is in YOUR mind and heart.

Such is the value of a sense of humor.

I wonder if any of the early Christians were seen or believed to have held a political agenda by their Roman accusers?

Today in TEC, that charge is no longer a false accusation.

That is the way TEC operates. The highest number of votes at GC wins. It doesn't matter what Scripture and Tradition say. It is the number of votes.

Read Acts and see how the early church grew exponentially when the true Gospel was preached.

You mean this:
Acts 2:
44All the believers were together and had everything in common.

45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,

47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Sounds like MY church.

Now, what church are you currently advertising this week....

Except your church moved money from the evangelism fund to the litigation fund.
