I am the owner of Tallgrass Prairie Flowers & MORE in Pawhuska and I had the honor of doing the flowers for the wedding scene!! I did a nice size bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 mother's corsages, flower girl's wristlet, ring bearer pillow and a boutonniere for the groom!!! And had silk poinsettia arrangements!!!!!!!!!

And I received a phone call tonight receiving high thanks from the filming crew saying my flowers were a huge hit!!!! Mallick even loved them!!!! Horray for me!!!
Javier waved to us

Javier Bardem drove past us and waved to us last night, and another actress walked across the street to say hello to us and spoke with our kiddos. Not sure who she was, but she said she would tell BEN and JAVIER that we all said "hello". We spoke with a few local Pawhuska Mom's who say the cast and crew has been LOVELY, and has said Hi .. BUT the ladies told us that the Pawhuska Police have been quite rude, even telling a citizen to put her camera AWAY and delete her pictures .. we came in contact with one officer when we initally tried to drive down the main road and it was closed, my husband rolled window down and asked nicely "what's up?" .. the police officer was totally RUDE, dismissing us, and only saying, "the road is closed" .. waving us away .. we had this run in, prior to the ladies telling us what was going on further down the street.
Why the need to be so rude, Mr. Pawhuska Police Officer? all you had to say was "it's a movie" .. or "someone is filming" .. last time I checked, our taxes pay YOUR salary ..
It was GREAT to have Javier wave though .. he looked amazing!!!!!

I totally agree with the last comment. I was there by the church on wednesday and the only one there besides the newspaper people taking pictures and almost all the film crew that walked by smiled and said hello. the films crew security was also being nice and polite .It was the pawhuska police officers that were hateful and rude..of course everyone is being curious to see what was going on. I drove by slowly to look and all I got was a fiercly wave telling me to hurry on by..why so rude??
its not all that

The Police officer we ran into there, was an ASS, there was NO need to be so rude. Everyone else in Pawhuska is LOVELY, we ate at Bad Brad's, then we hung out with quite a few locals to watch the filming, and they are all so nice ..

just the Police were so rude rude rude ..

Come on officers, you work in Pawhuska, keeping a road CLOSED OFF .. you are not God Like ..

why not CHILL out and enjoy the moment ???

They were filming on Osage st., in Bartlesville, on the 14th. and ask my kid to be in a scene.Which i let him.Anyway they were real nice to us letting us watch everything they were doing, until they were done with my kid. Then they ran us off. One fat girl ask me if i took any pictures with my phone. Of course i said no. But i really took about a hundred pics, and seven video's. Lol

PARENT, that is hilarious. that is how show business is I guess, use you to the fullest extent, then get rid of you and tell you to forget all you saw. I did a audition for a small part a few weeks ago. They don't tell you anything except - thank you for coming in. They don't tell you when to expect to hear from them or anything. Another piece of evidence to the use you and get rid of you hypothesis. Also they pay only $8/hr for being an extra, but I guess that is kind of fair. But I'm glad the movie crews and actors are nice, most of the time, anyway.
