Okay, just to clarify a few things. Yes, they were wearing their seatbelts. No, drugs nor alcohol were involved in this accident. Human error was the cause of this accident and we are all susceptible to that. These girls were two of the best of the best and it their parents are two of the best I know. My prayers, love, and support go to all their family. They will be sorely missed. I am so sorry for all the families and friends. My heart breaks when i hear stuff like that. I had a friend who was 17 and had his license for about a week and died the day before his prom. I feel so bad. My friend knew these girls and shes having a hard time with it. so i am so sorry for everyone.

I'm so shocked and dazed by this news. My son worked with Sarah last summer and had a brief relationship with her. I only spent one evening with her and enjoyed every minute of it. She was beautiful, charming and so witty. I am so sad to learn that she is gone. My heart goes out to her family. It is so tragic to lose 2 children all at once.

God, the last few weeks 2 dozen have been killed in cars in the burbs.
Maybe the media should tell us thinks like if if drink oor drugs were involved and if they had their seat belts on, so others can be educated.
Maybe people and the LAW should take crimes with cars more serious and put people in jail.
They were wearing seat belts and no cell phones or alcohol or drugs were being involved.

10 to 1 the girls were wearing the seatbelts, it is a bad tragedy that the girls had to die at a very ripe age of 16 but maybe they just lost control and maybe the were inexpectensed drivers? did anyone think about that instead of leading to the conculion that Drugs or Booze had to related to the addicent, um lets see they were under the age, yeah some kids drink at that age but as i've heard in the frist comment they were nice girls.. and yes they didnt deserve to die.. I Feel bad for the families who have to bary there kids instead of having the weddings when they turn that age or Actually watching them have a family. or seeing them go to college did anyone think that maybe family memebers get on here to see what they say..
Thanks for your kind words and amazing wisdom.

these girl's younger sister Rebekah is one of our close friends. we can't imagine what's going through her mind right now. we are truly sorry for the families loss. it's hurts a lot to lose a family member, but losing two in one day is even worse. Gretchen and Sarah were generous and bright young girls. just imagine all the things that they never got to accomplish. we'll miss them and we know their family will too. we give our best wishes to the family and friends and they'll never be forgotten.
Thank you Taylor, Kenzie, and Cassie. Your friendship and support for Rebekah has helped her to go on each day. You are loved by us all.

We couldn't have made it through all these days without your prayers and support. Some days are still such a struggle, but we endure the pain, and try to work through it. My girls were wearing their seat belts, not using alcohol or drugs, and were not texting or using their cell phones. Sarah just missed the stop sign and that is all there is to it. They are loved and missed each and every day.

Sarah and Gretchen were two beautiful girls, full of life and a joy to be with. There were no drugs or alcohol involved, they were wearing their seatbelts, and their parents did talk to them about the dangers of the world. These were two innocent victims of a terrible trajedy. Please don't judge them but rather hug the ones you love and remember that life is fragile and precious. We love you girls, may you find peace and joy in Heaven.
Thanks for all your love and support. We could not have gotten through each day without your love and support.

Sarah I just talked to you last week.We were talkig about how life always seems to get us when we are down. we talked about the baby i just had and yuo said you wished you could see him. There is so much that is running through my head right now. You were one of the closest friends i had in pavilion. You always knew what to say to make me smile and brighten my mood.
Do you remember the day I met you? I locked myself out of the apartment i loved in and you invited me to come to your house with open arms. That day was one of thre best days of my life. You sang to me. Your voice was so beautiful you made me cry. I can never forget that day. You are my dear friend and I will see you one day again.
I love you so much.
