Governor Henry was given $105 million dollars of stimulus money to spend how ever he wants to. Not to long ago the Governor gave Tulsa $15 million dollars towrads a program called Early Childroom Development for 3 & 4 year olds. I have not heard what the Governor has done with the rest of the money. Just thought I would remind everyone of this.

I wish he had spent the money on keeping my kid from falling through the cracks. what good is a 3 yr old education without ahigh school education?he needs to revamp our worthless education system that keeps dropping kids back a grade for circumstances out of their control. Such as illness moving etc. He needs to spend it on keeping the 300 out of 1000 kids in my sons graduating class from dropping out due to the credit issue. He needs to overhaul my sons high school which is on a federal watch list for the drop out rate due to the credit issues that keep them from graduating till they are 21.This money could have been much better spent. this is why I am moving out of oklahoma I don't want my second child to go to school in our worthless system.

A kid can go to school all year, but if all of the basic requirements were not met, will not be promoted. Similarly, a kid can miss most of the year, but if all of the basic requirements were met, will be promoted.

I think we need smaller class sizes. Some children cant learn with out the one on one time they get in a smaller classroom setting. Not to mention how hard it is to teach without the added distractions a larger class would surely bring. If money could be used to pay more teachers I say use it. If the teachers cant reach children no amount of books are going to reverse the damage to our futher generations
