I just do not see how these 'Doctor Shoppers' afford to see so many different doctors each month? I have insurance and each appointment is $30.00 and even that would add up quickly. Apparently these doctor shoppers pay cash for their appointment and the medications. That would get very expensive fast. Maybe they have the Doc bill them and then just not pay the bill but then how would they get their medication refills? Oklahoma is the wrong state to do this type of stuff in...I think Florida is one of the last states without a prescription monitoring program...

All he has to do is check in to a rehab clinic, call Sean Sutton's lawyer and all will be fine. He wont even have to show up for court.

Again, another ignorant cheap shot at Sean Sutton by yet another uneducated individual with access to a computer. Perhaps we should monitor those whom are not in school should atleast have a high school diploma before taking cheap shots at the educated people who pay the unemployment you are certainly obtaining. Sean Sutton is not "off the hook" he will likely be in the Payne county drug court that will not only save his life and possibly others but will save the tax payers $60,000.00 per year to incarcerate him. He will be drug tested every other day for atleast 2 years along with 20 hours per week of drug court requirements not limited to individual therapy, group therapy, NA and AA meetings, being employed, and giving back to the community. This is a serious problem and support would be appriciated by this tax paying, church going, OU Alumni that believes all people are BASICLY good people.

When you get a bottle of 30 pills and you can sell them for 5.00 each on the street then who cares if you had to pay that co-pay and 10.00 for the generic drug. You still come out at least 100.00 ahead and that is only off one doctor.

Sutton, will not have to do half of the things as OU Alumni stated above. However, I wish Sutton well!

OU Alumni, let me see if I understand you. You are saying, "believes all people are BASICLY good people."
Your words. So people like Charles Manson, to the guy that sells drugs to kids on the street are "BASICLY " good people? Is that what you are saying? Then lets just close the jails and send them all to meeting, rehab, and court ordered programs. I am sure Mr Sutton is a good man. But the fact remains that he broke the law. With this hanging over him, where is he going to find a job? He would have never had the one he did had it not been for his Daddy. And for your information, I am not uneducated, nor unemployed, nor have I ever taken one penny in social aid in my life. By the way, twice above you will find the word basically misspelled. That is a copy and paste from you educated, "tax paying, church going, OU Alumni that believes all people are BASICLY good people." post. My Dad told me something years ago that is just a true today as the day he said it. He said, "You can go to collage and get any kind of degree you want. But there is two things that no collage in the world can teach you. Common sense and how to work." Just a thought for you.

He was paying cash for the office visit and the RX, not using his insurance. The articles I read on the subject made it sound like the doctor shoppers were addicts taking most the the drugs they obtained but even if they only sold a few at 'street' prices then I can see how they could afford to pay for those Doc visits. Thanks for enlightening me on the subject of Doctor Shopping.
