Kenny was a personal friend of mine. I'm really upset that I had to search so hard to actually get the story as to what was reported. The only thing that kept comming up was the Death Notice. I dont know what all was going on in his life at the time but having lived and worked in the mountains in Central Oregon I can say...dont rule out the possibility of a simple drivers mistake of placing the vechial in the wrong gear and in that area it was too late to make the correction!
