Seems that in these hard times called "recession" some people have found a way to collect on Insurance companies. God only knows how many more cars will be found at the bottom and truly why would Thieves go to the extent and risk of stealing a vehicle just to go DUMP it in a canal. Hope the insurance companies who paid out on these so called Thefts, do their fair share of research as it is things like this that cost those of us the hikes in insurance premiums.
As far as the little boy goes, I hope the authorities find him of course safe and sound, but if he does come up within a car in the canal, at least this young mother will be able to put in to rest in a honorable way rather than spend months more or years more wondering and living a nightmare of wondering where her little boy is at. Hopefully she will make FAR BETTER choices as to who she gets involved with again. She had to have known his background and still got pregnant by him. Amazing!

So true, but the last sentence, you don't know, mental illness can happen later in life and she already left him, he fell apart after that according to the news accounts. People don't necessarily know people, don't blame her from an arms length, we all make mistakes but nobody (in right mind) makes a baby knowing that after I leave him, he will hear voices, after I leave him he will drown my baby........harsh........not everyone has a good mate, it can be trial, life's lessons and error, does that make you deserving of having your baby killed>

Very sad that this mother had to suffer of not knowing where her child is.....WHAT I don't understand is why the witness that says he saw the car go into the canal, didn't call the police right away, he knew the boy could be inside the car..my prayers are with the families involved...God is taking care of his little angel wherever he is.

I hate to think that there would be more media coverage (all over the country even) if this little boy just happened to look differently.
