Benicia is sure to benefit from the preservation of this historic district and community of artists, both of which are fragile and invaluable cultural treasures.

I'm sure the City will make a lot of money to reduce your taxes with the idea too. WRONG! LOL!

The Mayor is sure to benefit from the arts community with all the fundraising they do for her. The so called arts community is nothing but a drag on the taxpayers with their city subsidies and low rent live work area. They are and will be opposed to any development that may bring jobs to the area or port so they can maintain their special status. The so called arts community has no interest in what may benefit Benicia only themselves.

The artist studios are privately owned and rented, there are no city subsidies, also, Bob Whitehead, Kathleen Olsen and Richard Bortolazzo just want to build condos out there and they're the ones that want the city to spend money cleaning up they're property. You are so full of it, How many jobs do condos bring in after they're built? How is building condos going to bring jobs to the port? In fact! The port is totally against any residential out there at all, and have said so publicly. I think you are Whitehead or Bortolozzo and you are just a greedy slob, that can never get enough money that you can't take with you. Build a park out there and name it after yourself, you'll be loved forever!

The Mayor is owned by the so called artist and you are owned by the Mayor Joe. Arts Benicia is subsidized by the City out of the general fund. The live work area is granted special zoning that no other area in Benicia could ever hope for. The arts community has through the backdoor stopped a rice warehouse and funded opposition against any project proposed for the port.
