Is It a Park? A Direction? Or Just Home?

The home of supporters of keeping a New Jersey town's name West Paterson , instead of the proposed Woodland Park, on Sunset Drive.

West Paterson sounds great, until it's connected to that hellhole called Paterson. What a shame that the once proud Paterson has become a sanctuary for crime and assorted misfits! No wonder West Paterson wanted a name change. EAST Paterson was smart enough to do it in 1973, becoming Elmwood Park. The former East Paterson H.S. used to be confused with Eastside H.S. in Paterson. What a horrible thought! Either change Paterson or change any name bearing it's name not actually associated with it, for the sake of the people.

Rumor is that if West Paterson goes ahead with it's planned name change to WOODLAND PARK then Paterson is going to changs its name to EAST WOODLAND PARK. LOFL.
