auto fraud in paterson nj - jkj auto

[HELP]

I recently bought a car from Vincent Rodriguez over at JKJ Auto in Paterson, NJ. They are located on 234 East 29th St in Paterson, NJ.

I paid for the car in cash, and was told I would receive a title via mail a few days later when the funds cleared. I was given a 20 day temporary tag, and send on my way with the car.
When I received the title 15 days later, it was not properly notarized. I was unable to register the car and title it. I called the dealer, Vincent, who told me it was a mistake and he would take care of it. I fed–exed the package and he was to fed-ed it right back so I could title the car before the temporary tag expired.
He never fed-exed the title back, and was evasive on the phone, telling me to call him back in an hour. He gave me a tracking number that does not exist in the fed-ex system. When I called him to straighten this all out, he became very rude and hung up on me. I am not without a car.
I just want to have the proper title. I am a recent college graduate, with my first job. This car situation has turned into a nightmare, causing me to miss work because I no longer have a car I can operate legally. I have spent money out of pocket to fed-ex him the documents, and given him the benefit of the doubt on this. Despite not having a fed-ex tracking number, he says he shipped the documents, and doesnt care that my tag is now expired.
I called the Paterson police department, who said they would not do anything until Monday Dec 31st. The officer on the telephone said he is very familiar with the JKJ Auto, because they have had to send out units several times before.

I also bought a car from JKJ auto. I have bad credit and had to do the payments through them. I put 2400 down on a 5500 dollar car. The sold me a warranty which so far covers nothing! I found out the car has a salvaged title which they didnt tell me about. A friend of mine who works for a body shop looked at the car and told me it was never fixed right and the the whole front of the car is held on by tape and expoxy! I have asked them to give me another car which they didnt and I have spent another 1700 in repairs so far. I even threated to hold my payments which I did and they reposed the car when the payment was only 7 days late. I spoke with the owner and complained and told him I would see him in court, so he agreed to give the car back. When I went to pick the car up I had to pay another $750 in fees to get it back. I have no choice because I cant work without a car and I feel so stuck right now. I have spent all my money on this one.

The ford guy was a real deadbeet you should of seen his credit hitory.He's the kind of person that goes around buying things on credit then makes up lie's about his perchase so he won't have to pay for it a real deadbeet.

i love jkj...they sold me a perfect car for an affordable price. i'm very pleased!! i would recommend jkj auto sales to everyone i know thats looking for a vehicle.=)

i brought a car that was a lemon joe sold me a warranty but didn't send the money to the warranty company and i had to sue and i got $3,500 don't buy any car from them they are crooks.

Yes that is true,but the fact is that I, Joe did not sell him the car or the warrenty.It was thr salesperson who worked for me at the time.I was more than willing to work with Aaron towards a peacefull resolution.

Well I just finished my trip to Florida by bus, thanks to that dealer, now I will have to come back and deal with what I have been reading. I hate it when people take advantage of other folks down on their luck, I had to buy from this place because I really was in a bind and needed a car. I guess I was grateful that these dealers exist and I got a car, but I got no savings at all, and now who knows how I will be treated when I get back to Paterson, or how I will get this car fixed to get it back there.
