This happened in my neighborhood, and I am absolutely sickened by what happened. I am glad that they are being charged with murder.
I heard in newsday yesterday that the only minority person involved wants to separate himself from the crime; he says that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. The fact that he is Black and Puerto Rican is (or ought to be) irrelevant in a court of law, and so, by not taking a neutral stance, that story was affected by Newsday's bias; and so therefore I totally ignore all the things in that article. Now if the article didn't show bias, I would say that I feel for him, and hope that he gets justice of his own, as well as his mother. But if I were an "important person" I would not say that, because bias goes against my principles.

They're all responsible, they admitted to having two other knives, and a BB gun that night. the boys that didn't even touch the guy, which I doubt happened, were there. Those boys did nothing to stop one another, they all got in a car and agreed to go beat up a Hispanic person. therefore, they are all responsible.
Unless you are part of about 20 Hispanic men and youth watching and encouraging in a 15 year old girl being raped for 2 1/2 hours in a California School Yard at a school dance. They are considered morally challenged without an arrest.

I lived in Patchogue many years ago. I am sure it is not the same place today. I have not been there in years. When I grew up there (for awhile) with guys like Arnold L. and Butch P. and even Jeffrey Mac......it was a decent place as far as I was concerned. It almost sounds as if it might be a nightmare to live there now. I just stopped in to say hello. What has happened to Suffolk County? Or should I ask? I've got some good memories of Suffolk County and some not so good. Oh, do I have a story for you. Well, maybe not today. But it is a story. I had no problem with Patchogue. What do they call it now? Hell?

Is that the one that also helped kill a guy during a robbery?

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Leo

Life seems a little bleak today, but it's important to remain as positive as you can. This is simply one of those days when everything gets on top of you, making you feel weary. If you do have something specific and urgent to worry about, it's far better to take some constructive action, even if it needs a lot of courage, than to brood and fret.
