Democratic Hill used to be nice, these days its Blah
Parts of Roe are nice; good thing Patchogue has that synagogue at the end of Roe.
Want to talk about Bay ave? Or Grovem or the streets off of Waverly? Didn't think so. You don't know why those areas look like that? Let me fill you in! Ya see, we live in a country where ANYONE can just walk right in, right? Bay Avenue, Grove Avenue, Waverly Avenue, River Avenue and all of West Patchogue used to be really nice!! But since we have tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that insist on living like slobs with 20 people in a two bedroom house, and we just keep letting them move on in, this will never change. There's nothing any of us can do about it...unless we walk around killing people! And that's gonna get us where? I don't like sounding prejudice...I'm really not...but I'm just speaking the truth! I'm not saying we don't have any white trash or other disgusting people, but I've been living here all my life, and I've seen what happened with my own damn eyes! Anyone who lives over here knows what the hell I'm saying!! Just speaking the truth!!

Have you people ever been to patchogue? North patchogue has small houses, and there are some in Patchogue village. But most are old victorians. And I believe the problem was that the slum lords used to buy the BIG houses that patchogue has and then rent them out to 20 people. That issue was addressed and even though we do have our problems, Patchogue is up and coming once again. God Bless Mrs. LLanas and her family. Yea, my boyfriend is from North Patchogue...his parents live in a small house in Canan Lake. Most of those houses are small because they were originally summer houses. People just don't know that.

Maria wrote: Didn't anybody teach all you people that if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all? Mona was my cousin and my friend and a wonderful, kind, and fun person. All these comments are ripping our hearts out.Just pray for us,especially her children, grandchildren, siblings and her mother. Remember we are people. This happened to us and we are hurting. Maria, I had the pleasure of working with Mona at LIHS some 15 or so years ago. She was the sweetest, caring, most professional and kindest woman I worked with. I remember her office filled with framed pictures of her children. I am shocked and saddened that Mona a beautiful person inside and out, had to die in such a horid manner. I was suppose to go to her Wake on Saturday, but I just couldn't. I am sorry for this and as tears fall from my eyes as I'm writting this, just know that Mona and her family are deep within my heart. My love and prayers go out to you and the rest of your family.

It seems as if everyone is so wrapped up in the bullshit that,s flying. did we lose sight of the tragedy that just has happened. No human being deserves what happened to my very dear aunt MONA, She was like a sister to me, she was the rock that held our family together, because family was very important to her I am deeply saddened that the holidays will never be the same, and the fact that my very special cousins are left to pick up the pieces and try to deal with the loss of two parents. so instead of smearing their good name say a prayer for them. and maybe one for your self that GOD forgive you for your stupidity. RIP AUNT MONA THANKYOU FOR THE GREAT MEMORIES I WILL HOLD DEEPLY IN MY HEART

It is almost a year that a beautiful, gentle, and kind soul as left us here on earth. She and all of her families and friends has been on my mind this last couple months. I know she is with God but I will never forget her. I will always remember her smiling face. I was blessed to have known her. I know that Mona was a forgiven person, and by her memory and of God and Jesus, I have learned to forgive. Hard but so true. I hope Mona's families and friends will do the same or have done the same, for her memory as well as for God and Jesus. I still can not figure out why this has happened to her and everyone else close to her, but I prayer for her, her devoted families and friends. May God bless you all.

I had the delightful pleasure of working with Mona Llanes at Island Manor Adult Home 6 yrs ago. She was always kind, caring to the residents and staff, always smilin, jokin, she was a attractive lady. However i would always see bruises on her arms constantly and sometimes on her face, She would try to cover it up with make up. My heary goes out to her kids, grandchildren and family. I wish to god that i could have helped you as tears stream down my face writing this. Miss u sweetie RIP Mona.
