Lets not leave out the Fire Department as the Deputy Chief seems to be running the show and the fire Chief is being run out. The mayor himself said that he wants Bay ST Louis people in charge. I guess htats the reward for supporting him in the election.
This just in from the funny farm the cross dressing one is now the fire departments new Assistant Chief. Yeah things are changing and man is Bay St Louis A Place Apart or WHAT!!!!!!
So far an Officer and two firefighters have left the department in the last year and the city contiues to hire uncertified people to fill the slots all of whom will have to be trained and that will cost a good bit.
So the city has no money Multple people are getting promoted with no advertisement of open positions and important services like fire and police are losing people and they are hiring people with no experence.
Same old same old
Looks like me and My business will be leaving bay St louis before it gets to bad and my insurance goes through the roof for lack of coverage as predicted by my insurance co.

Say it ain't so!! I just got this hot off the grape vine. Seems that everyone's favorite Dimmest Police Chief is about to finally be removed from office!!

I heard tell that Uncle Tommy was dead set against putting certain someone into the Narcotics opening and swore that he would never be promoted. Uncle Tommy was mad and didn't want the young man to be promoted because the had the nerve to openly question some of Uncle Tommy's, less than brilliant decisions, but low and behold, none other than the new mayor himself ORDERED Uncle Tommy to give the young officer the position. Uncle Tommy was sooooo mad that he threw the keys to the unmarked vehicle at the young officer!!

Now everyone knows that the new mayor is trying to make the transition from the old, corrupt Favre régime to a more modern, forward thinking administration as seamless and painless as possible, attempting not to openly embarrass Favre but the sooner he can distances himself from Uncle Tommy and a few other left there the better off he will be.
My parting thoughts are this: Mayor Fillingame, YOR ARE THE MAN! Step out from under the shadow of that black cloud over this city known as the “Favre Administration” and create your own shadow! We are with you…..take the step!!

you hit nails on the head there josephine. nothin but cry and wine all the time no matter who they got in charge and it been goin on for years now. but i think they on to something about the deputy fire cheif. she been wearing mens clothes since she work for the city andfor many many years. male boots, she wear no jewlry and rings but has a husband and has mens t shirts and hat with a man haircut. those dam boots take the cake tho in my book . you dont see any othercity women who look like she does and dress that way. why cant she dress like a lady even if she dont look like one?? i think she kind of hot in one way and too boy like in another. she too old to be doing that tho.
