I would like to say a big thank you to someone who help me and my children in a time when no one else would. he had said that he was helping not for publicity but I have seen a lot of character assassination on here about him and would just like to say that even the multiple charity organizations and government assistance programs have not helped out yet. Although I am still struggling to pay bills, at least I do have food and diapers. Thank you so much and as soon as I am able, I will be doing the one thing you asked for in return, and that is to "pay it forward."

I don't even know him but as a volunteer worker, I know he donated a sidewalk to Starfish Rest., a golf cart to Real people parade and my granddaughter plays on a team he sponsored. I live in Da Kiln. Good guy to me.....

I know him not a bad person to talk to likes helping. Problem he has no real knowledge on running a large business. ask him on his plan he really doesn't have one, but he Is very committed to keeping money accountable. I said I like him but am concerned about his reason for running. Can't say yet if I will support him. But I will give a good look before making my mind up. He needs to open up and talk about what he wants for the city. You are both right he is a good guy

I'm glad too see one good thing on this blog. I've heard the same thing about Mr.Jeff. He will help people down on their luck, or just be charitable and ask for nothing in return. This may or may not be helpful when trying to get elected, but I promise this, He will be rewarded when judgement day comes.
Do into others as one wants done to them.

I too have seen such charitable and benevolent actions by Mr Harding. He is a true asset for Bay Saint Louis.

This is not why he should be the Mayor though.

He should be the Mayor because he is a true friend to the people, civil servants and the business communities. He is well qualified to put our city on the right track for many years to come.

He does not owe anybody anything and is not in anyone's pocket.

I don't know this because I know him. I know this because I am nosey. It is a true measure of one's character to see their actions when they don't know that they are being watched.

Jeff may be all that you say, and I do think he's a good guy. BUT, being nice or kind or a friend just doesn't qualify as mayor material, especially if you know nothing about city, state, federal laws, city finances, city and county taxes, federal grants, and so many many other things that someone HAS to know to be an EFFECTIVE mayor. Anyone could be elected as a mayor, but just how good would he or she be at it? That should be the criteria for deciding who to vote for, not who we "like". Just my opinion but I think it has merit.
