Can't help you much with that. But I was wondering, has anyone else seen the personalized license plate on a Ole South a/c truck? "Pearly".
Don't know who owns it now, but I used to hear how the owner was really a devout Christian, so I guess that would explain the license plate, pearly gates and all. Must be a man of outstanding faith to wear his devotion so openly. So many creative people like that in this county when you think about it.

A while back when Obama was pushing openly for gun control, a lot of the Sheriffs around the nation took a stand and said they would not allow it. They stood by our 2nd Amendment. I was waiting for our Sheriff to do the same. I am still waiting. Does anyone know where he stands at on this issue. I would hope he and all law enforcement officers stand by their oath and uphold the Constitution.

Well, I am a victim of false arrest, wrongful arrest, false accusations(s) by the Hancock county Sheriffs Department back on May 4, 2013 at 7:46pm. It was all thrown out on November 5, 2013 after 6 months of pleading not guilty 4 times. The officers that violated my civil rights are no longer with the department and I have lawyers who are now going to sue the county, state and file a 42USC/1983 in Federal court to get the money I'm out of for bond, towing fees, turn key fee, attorney fees, plus I am going to get punitive damages, damages for ruined reputation (arrest record), and other civil rights violations. It wa san over zealous cop (3) of them that are going to be held liable civilly and criminally. I have an attorney from Natchez and one from DeIberville, MS that stepped up to the plate and agree that my rights were violated. That's all I can say about it because of pending litigation. All I'm gonna say is that they will be paying me. YOU can see the videos on youtube. Go to youtube and type in hancock county false arrest charges dismissed, pianomansmith.

Just a opinion but the police that want to disarm all but law enforcement scare the hell out of me!!!!. Folks don't realize how close to a police state we are. Eventually police will be able to arrest you for simply questioning their actions. They have become so arrogant since Obama took office. Retired Military here. I used to respect police and had much in common with their core values. Not so anymore. Sad to have served so many years abroad protecting our freedom, then to see so much of it eroded away. Good question how does the sheriff stand on this issue?

Mississippi House Bill 168, of the 2011 legislation session, confirmed and affirmed Mississippians right to open carry firearms on their person, in their homes and vehicles for protection. It doesn't matter what the sheriff thinks, the US Constitution and the Mississippi Constitution gives all citizens who are not certain convicted felons, that right. The sheriff does not legislate rights, the elected representatives , that the people elect make those decisions. Remember, the sheriff works for us, not the other way around. That's why we have a militia, to march to the capitol and get rid of tyrants, physically, by the use of firearms if need be. If that time should come, then step up to the plate and be the first to fight.

I seen a recent news article of a sheriff in Connecticut that was relieved from duty by a judge for refusing to enforce gun laws. A temporary boot licker was appointed by the judge to enforce those gun laws. Now that is scary as hell. Sheriff has always been democratic elected so that they can be replaced if they fail to protect the people. How long before they abolish elections and just appoint federal cronies as local law enforcement? Sound crazy not really, so many new laws passed recently by Obama eroding your freedom that would have been unheard of a few decades ago.

Look I don't know why everyone is trying to put my dad down. Everyone makes mistakes. All of you need to take a look in the mirror everyone has skeletons in the closet. So before you start judging someone especially my dad you all need to take a look at yourselves. You never know anyone struggles. I love you dad can't wait until you come home love as always your one an only daughter bronwin layne

Wow. Looking to relocate to the area. Rethinking this decision. First a POA runs the town, you have to pay for a fire dept. on top of the taxes and poa fee. Now I am reading about corruption in the police dept. and all of this is approved and sanctioned by the state Supreme Court. No wonder the property values are relatively cheap there. Tell me something positive about this area.
