meatballs rock, How do figure P. Phillips made an ass out of himself? All I see are facts & truth about Garber and his version of the "Dixie Mafia". And that's coming from someone who was unfortunate enough to work at that department before I became smart enough to get the hell out.

You would. I guess maybe he has some dirt on you on his little trusty recorder? Seems like paranoia is an issue with some..... Why would someone record conversations? Makes a lot of people wonder.

Just because you may agree with him does not mean that the rest of us aren't laughing at his stupidity.

Phillips wasn't the only one wearing a wire on Garber & his corrupt cronies. I have tape on them also. That was the only way you could survive at that dept. if you didn't want to play their political games. And no, Phillips doesn't have "dirt" on me. I didn't have any "dirt" to worry about. You seem to be the paranoid one here, maybe there's a little "dirt" on you that you're worried may be on tape or video.

meatballs rock, I guess I can see your point. IF you're one of Garber's bitches, you would have reason to try and discredit him. Other than that, if you haven't worked at Hancock S.O. and have no idea how dirty they are, you don't have a dog in the hunt. But it sounds like you may have been one of the ones that got punked by Phillips. Otherwise, I can't figure out why you're crying.

So you and phillips wear recorders. What ever happened to going to work, doing your job and minding your own business. I guess if both of your heads were not so far up your own asses maybe you would have been able to do the job rather than focus on your obsessive paranoia.

They do have help for that these days. Obviously leaving your previous department didn't remedy either of your situations.

BTW, what does phillips' actions have to do with me and my employment? phillips' reputation preceeds him. Maybe the city council of the Bay will see what a liability he (and probably you) is/are.

It's also interesting that you only post on here on nights when certain people are on duty. Did certain departments NOT tell their officers no posting while on duty?

Phillips, myself & several other former Hancock deputies tried to do our job and mind our own business. But it became obvious that if you actually do your job and enforce the law in Hancock County, the powers that be become politically threatened and interfere with your job and attempt to intimidate you. Therefore, it becomes necessary to wear a recorder, not only when dealing with the criminals in the public, but also when dealing with the criminals in charge of the Hancock S.O. As far as posting, I own my computer and will post when I damn well please. No matter to me who is or isn't on duty. I have no idea what the local agencies tell their employees in reference to their freedom of speech. The issue hasn't been addressed with me by my current employer. As far as your employment status, it sounds like you're trying to insure continued employment with Garber by trying to discredit those who know and speak the truth about him. I have no way of knowing you or your status, so I'm just hazarding a guess.

Okay, lets clear up some things. 1 I know nothing about you but am merely speculating. My apology to you. 2. You are right, freedom of speech is my right as a US citizen, therefore both you and I can continue to speak our minds in this free country. 3. I dont work for Garber, nor have I ever. I didn't address this issue with any thoughts about phillips and his recorder with Garber. It was merely his use of one in the first place. I still do not understand why a grown man walks around with a recorder in his pocket. Its bizarre. Does he place himself in that many situations that he needs to constantly "back himself up". Really, think about it.

I never spoke lies about him. I merely stated my opinion that he made an ass out of himself. In my opinion and many others like me, he did and continues to do so. He is a talented officer who is tarnishing his reputation by appearing like he is trying to prove some conspiracy therory. Again, that is MY opinion.

Why former Hancock Deputy, are my eyes deceiving me? Could you be 0024 PoPo??

Atleast your post are paranoid, but merely reflect your thoughts. Some though are totally ridiculous. I wont name names.

I agree that Hancock County is VERY corrupt. With Ronnie Cuevas as Garber's right hand what do you expect???? Remember when the Dawseys got accused of burning down his store? Uh, well, eyewitnesses say that they thought Cuevas cleaned up WAY TOO quickly...he even claimed that there were items in the fire that were not even there! Oh, but again, look how long it took for Ronnie Cuevas to clean up after Katrina! Hmmm, sounds mighty funny that he was in such a hurry to clean up Cuevas Grocery, but it took him over a year to get his "eye sore" of a home cleaned up from Katrina! If you ask me, I think HE is the one who burned down his store, and the only thing he could do was accuse someone else of doing it so that no one would suspect that he did it! The Dawseys were found "Not Guilty." So, tell me, Ronnie, who did it then?
Also, right now I am waiting on the "Good 'ol Boys" to finally arrest a juvenile for having touched my daughter, and it was reported over a year ago...what's the hold up? Is it because the boy is part of the "Good 'Ol Boy" society?

Remember when Ronnie's store burned down in Pearlington? Uh, well, I have friends who helped clean up that store tell me that Ronnie was claiming things were in the fire that weren't even there! He sure did clean that mess up FAST! But, you know, the funny thing is that Ronnie took his sweet time cleaning up that house that Katrina destroyed! Hmmm...what was it? Over a year? Mighty funny that he wouldn't clean it up as fast as he did that store of his!

Also, he blamed people who were found innocent in court...did they ever find the real arsonists? Well, it must have been Ronnie then...gotta get that insurance money, ya know!

What do you expect when Ronnie is Steve's right-hand man?

I'm still waiting on the arrest of someone who is part of the "good ol boys" family. It's been over a year since the reporting of a certain juvenile who molested my child...well, I guess I better not hold my breath since I know that boy will never have his day in court becaue of all the "sweeping" under the rug that goes on in all Hancock County entities.

Listen people who gives a crap about type o's or grammer Jesus this is just a blog not a freakin writing contest.
I worked at the S.O. for a long time and I have also known Steve for a very long time. I used to think he was pretty cool until he was elected and I worked for him. The only balls that man has is the ones he uses to degrade you in front of people. Lord knows he has know balls to take up for you or to fight for what is right for this county. The man is going to rott in hell for all he has done. I am not goning to get into all of this but I can tell you that the man is corrupt. I know, I was there during Katrina and I saw and heard with my own 2 eyes and ears. Not to mention the countless things I know happened before the storm. The man is going to end up behind bars. Just wait and see and he going to keep on and keep on until this whole county is destroyed if you people elect him again
