Because I am homosexual, people look at me different. I know they get aggravated with my constant babble, but I'm not going anywhere. I am just tired of all the anti-homosexual overtones to everyone's replies to my messages. I do not particularly care for police, and everyone knows who I am. There, I have said it. I feel much better now.

I am so happy to see that someone is finally concerned about the "possible" corruption in the Hancock County Sheriff's department. The sad part is that the first three contributors to the blog on this subject are from Harrison County.

I am writing here to let some of you know just how crooked the county sheriff's department really is. First Let back up to a comment made by an individual on here March 2, 2007. It's in refersnce to the county K-9. I have seen the dog do its work. I have seen that man find dope in places i never thought to look. I been chasing dope for about 10 years now and my reputation speaks for itself. Of course the sheriff's office is so crooked I never went to court on any of the case or knew what happened to all of the evidence, but i can vouch for the k-9 team. They are sound and very trustworthy. I trust that dog and that man with my life. If you got something bad to say a bout somebody make sure you know what your talking about. Obviously you nave worked side by side with the man. He may not be friendly but he knows what he is doing. And besides ... so what if he has family connections to let him know where and how the dope is being moved. Isn't that how our narcotics team works it's C.I.'s. Without informants they would have anything... They never leave the office and only work three days a week. The county cant afford them. TO BUSY SPENDING MONEY SOME WHERE ELSE HUH STEVE ??? Ok Now on th the topic of the crooked department. GOOD OLE BOY TIME IS OVER !!!!! Yep. Its true. When new equipment comes in the guys that sit on the fat butts get dibs. Then patrol gets whats left. Its been that way for so long. Ya kinda get used to getting it in the rear there. Yeah meth is running wild in this county. Everyone involved with it will tell you. Wanna get by with it go to hancock county. WHO CARES ABOUT MOONSHINE ???? NOBODY STEVE !!! We want to see the scum bags makeing this killer drug burried under the jail..... Oooops you dont have one. Is that why the run free or is it something else? Cuevas was penciled in as a deputy sheriff through the academy. You really think that fat ass did 50 pushups and ran a mile and a half????? Yeah right. I'm really sure Sheriff Necaise will fix this. I have to speak for the very small handful of honest deputies that do work for Steve. Good luck and dont let your last name become "CO-DEFENDANT". As long as that man is running the show it will happen. Oh yeah one more thing. Have you ever arrested anybody for dope and by the time they get to jail a bondsman or an O/R is allready being done???? Hmmmmmmmm

Dopedogg17, you really need to worry about more important things other than your ramblings about the Sheriff's Dept. One good thing you should focus on is your spelling, grammer, and diction. If you want to make a statement that a "reasonable and prudent person" would agree with, you should #1 get your facts straight,#2 type with more than one finger and make the words form a true sentence,#3 proper English is a must, and #4 keep your train of thought.

Yes, I agree with you that the Hancock County Sheriff's Department has been know for eons (that would be a very long time dopedogg17) to play true small town politics and the good ole' boy system. But lets face it, which department, especially in South Mississippi hasn't?

For you to remotely think that you will have a Sheriff Necaise come out of this upcoming election is even funnier that your spelling. As a former law enforcement officer that has had over 20 years of dealings with the Hancock County Sheriff's Department and the people of Hancock County, there is no possible way that your "Sheriff Necaise" will ever be elected Sheriff in this county.

Well, I have put way too many big words together for such an uneducated person like my buddy dopedogg17, so I think I will make my closing.

Yes, I agree there needs to be a change, just as I did when Steve (Sheriff Garber) beat former Sheriff Ronnie Peterson. Do I think it will happen this time around? NO. Do I agree with good officers being passed over lessor officers because the lessor officers have their noses burried? NO. Will it change? NO. Politics is politics. Like it or leave it....it's not going to change. Steve has done some really positive things for the department sice taking office, and yes he has done some things I don't agree with. That's part of being human. But dopedogg17...... "Sheriff Necaise" ......that's a good one. lol

I have gotten on this soap box in other forums but it pertains to this one just as well, so I’m getting back on it.

All over there are stupid cops, corrupts cops, and incompetent cops. As long as we have to hire cops from the human race, it will be that way but in my years of law enforcement in Hancock County, they appear to be the exception, not the rule concerning the three agencies here.

Along with bad cops, I have seen some truly heroic, hardworking and dedicated cops.
I know good cops who have tried to help get rid of bad cops at great cost to their own careers, but I also know some good cops who have succeeded in getting rid of bad cops.
It's like when one cop does something outstanding he alone is praised, and he should be, but let one cop screw up and his whole department is derided.

I am only one person and I try to be the best cop I can possibly be. Most of the cops I know seem to feel the same way.

Most of the cops that I have seen who take this job for personal gain have fallen, and they fell hard. There are those who haven't fallen yet, but their day is coming.

Strength and honor,

Blaize-Watson

I didn’t see any place where it cited a prerequisite that one needed to be grammatically correct in the use of the English language to post on the site. But that they be able to articulate their point does seem to help, which he must have done to ruffle Godfordid’s feathers. Those who know what is happening in the county understands exactly what Dopedogg17 was saying. However, if you have information on what facts he might have got wrong, or didn’t have the fact on, maybe you should share it with the rest of the voters. Thus ensuring they have all the correct information so they might make a more intelligent and informed decision on election day.(Oh by the way God forbid “burried” has one “ r ” and sice is missing an “n“) <Wink> LOL. But rest assured you won’t loose your voting rights just cause you misspelled a word or two. After all most of our founders weren’t educated, but they did a pretty darn good job. I mean giving people the right to speak out no matter how articulate they are.“I may not agree with what someone has to say, but I will defend to the death their right to say it”!!!!!“Lest we not judge too harshly, we who live in glass houses” What you think Wandering Eye!!!

it is really hard to belive that the county i live would ever elect a man who had never had a lick of law enforcement.i also can say that i know of the fine people that work for the so and yes there are some them.but there are some that are as crocked as the day is long and the sheriff just turns a blind eye to it.he also allows people that hit his deputys to go free with out ever faceing charges.so as i see it he is as bad as the rest of them.as one of the posting note those that camplain are the bad guy well i am not so take it for what it is worth.THE SHERIFF AND HALF HIS STAFF IS AS CROCKED AS THE DAY IS LONG

Hancock is no better than Harrison, whenever you got crooks in the front office whay do you get corrupt, yes with Steve and Ronnie in there together, that just like having Payne in Hancock.Hancock needs a change because so much have happen in the system where officer's get involve with street life and don't go to jail, other official in the county jail can help misplaced government funds and hole three to two position and get paid now if that's not corrupt what is it.Steve and Ronnie and the good ole boy's needs to be removed from the county jail and the system

Just so YOU know, unlike YOU, I know that Topix does not post the CORRECT location on a regular basis. I dont give a rats ass where you grew up. I TOO live in Hancock County. But back on the subject, Criminals complain about law enforcement on an EXTREMELY higher level than law abiding citizens. Its funny when I am in uniform, that the criminals are usually the ones hating and decent law abiding citizens are polite. I guess as soon as I bust you for some wrongdoing, you will complain just like them. Now do us all a favor and shut up unless you know what you are talking about.

By the way, when did PETAL become Hancock County??? Oh right...it isnt.
